LOL, I never said it was the best track ever...just pointing out how stupid it is to say that it's a bland and forgettable track. Luciano and Co. started hammering it in early 2008 and here we are talking about it a year and a half later and many DJs are still playing it.

the most ironic part about this comment is that you are the biggest radioslave fan ever, talk about tracks that last 2 hours and go nowhere

i just find this discussion hilarious.

most summer anthems are the most cringe worthy tracks ever. Remember a little diddy called Heater?

I like la mezcla and have played it, empty tracks like this make for great tools, and i think i did a prety good job with it according to the feedback i got

I dont think its empty though..its a complete clusterfck of drums. You couldnt fit another percussive element in there if you wanted to

And The Dig goes places...straight to outerspace bro

Posted by elFreak on Jun-05-2009 19:06:

i managed, maybe you just need to learn how to dj better

LOL and then I'm the elitist asshole. Nice, Oscar, nice.

LOL, far from it

I know everyone has an opinion and bla, bla, bla...but to call La Mezcla "bland and forgettable" is pretty stupid.

Like, seriously? Wow.

probably won't be the anthem for the underground techno scene, but sander k - this is our night probably would be this year's pjanoo.

doubt there would be an underground techno anthem anyway since DC10 is closed

Posted by elFreak on Jun-05-2009 19:45:

dc 10 and ibiza are so far from being bastians of techno that it is not even funny.

there are tons of better clubs out there, although i agree that there might not be such a thing as a berghain anthem

DJ Sammy - Heaven

Well, if you want to read into it that way...

It was not my intention, anyways

Weird that nobody has mentioned Reshuffle - The Uppershelf yet.

well, dc10 played heater and i don't think berghain and watergate are the types of clubs that would play stuff like heater?

I would say Lucio Aquilina - Magic M would probably be considered as a panoramabar/berghain anthem?

Hmmm, what I meant was basically, to someone who isn't in to this type of music at all, that track is probably going to be very boring and forgettable. I could be wrong but I had it in the car with some friends who have very good taste in music, they just don't listen to techno or house at all, and they thought it was really boring.

LOL Austin...are you at least getting fond of the track?

And TranceOwns...you totally missed the point of elFreak's post.

Posted by enydo on Jun-06-2009 20:43:

ehhh

I'll be patient and see what happens.

Fair enough. Like it or hate it, I just think it has the qualities of being a track you instantly recognize upon listening to 2 seconds of it. I'm not discussing the quality of the track, just that it's a track you won't forget either in a good or bad way

Posted by enydo on Jun-06-2009 20:46:

I mean yeah, I agree with you, I did buy the track.

btw change your status NAO
