Stupid rumors because Silva doesn't want to play in England for example. David Villa too.

ps: peruanito de mierda, a insultar a tu madre

Michael Owen to Man United

Also, Benzema looks to be a Real Madrid player really soon

Owen is an interesting move. A gamble, most assuredly, meaning could be any permutation from big success to sidelined with injury. Either way, I'm sure he'll be glad to stop seeing Sky interviews with Phil Brown declaring his interest in him

Alonso might be leaving Liverpool for Madrid, that will leave...what...2 midfielders? Fuck sake

lol @ Owen to United. What the fuck is he gonna do over there?

replace Tevez's spot

looks like incentive based wage, so win win situation for SAF really. plus free transfer. can't beat a deal like this (well, unless Owen goes out with an injury for an year again lol)

If the owen deal is pay as you play then united can't lose, if he finds his form then they've got a world class striker for zip.

Yuri Zhirkov and Sturridge to Chelsea.

Owen on a free transfer isn't that much of a gamble imo.

Sturridge to serve as an English player to meet Chelsea's home-grown quota. Zhirkov is a solid signing though.

Onyewu to Milan.

I didn't see this coming. It's nice that he turned his good Confederations Cup performance into a contract with Milan.

Didn't either. I had a strong feeling he'd get picked up, but not really by a club of that size. I expect a few others of the American squad to get poached as well...Donovan, Bradley (potentially), maybe Altidore if Villareal aren't as interested in him anymore

Felipe Melo to Juventus. I guess Arsenal missed out.

Posted by vaG- on Jul-07-2009 23:44:

Melo just signed a new contract at Fiorentina, I really don't see him going anywhere unless the swap with Arsenal will tempt Fiorentina.

17 million to juventus plus marchisio, contracts mean nothing in football so long as teams are willing to pay the transfer fee..

Buy-out clauses can be mighty expensive for players, I guess not for Melo.

Kerlon the seal dribbler to Inter Milan on a free. Should be an interesting buy. Thought this guy was just a one trick pony albeit an effective one since he runs while dribbling the ball on his head (seal dribble). But to be picked up by a top club like Inter there must be more to him than a knack for just pissing players of (refer video 2).

Here are some clips of his displaying his skills:

Expect a lot more of this in Italy (and you thought CR could get under a players skin )

Lisandro Lopez to Lyon

Posted by chesco on Jul-17-2009 21:01:

ibrahimovic to barcelona, 35 million plus samuel eto'o and a alexander hleb who goes on a season long loan.

Wow!

Ridiculous deal in my opinion. Barca were effectively just 'done' by inter. well played Mourinho
