Psy will always have a special place in my heart, thanks to a lot of early/mid 90's acts that have already been mentioned in this thread
Couple of old fav's;
As I always say, it took a nosedive into the mud after X-Dream made Radio and everyone wanted to sound like them. After that it's pretty much been in the same poor state creatively as any other genre of electronic music that becomes immensely popular.
Blue Room Released still released some of the best electronic music in the world, though. This, this, this and this are all brilliant.
edit: Might as well use this opportunity to plug my Goa/acid techno mix.

I actually like the slower goa and psy stuff. Oakenfold's goa Essential Mix starts off around 130 BPM and the first track (Grace - "Skin on Skin" Orange Mix) is one of my favorite trance tunes of all time.

Love it. Especially the new-style goa thats been coming out of Suntrip et al. A lot of the old stuff is very good too, although a lot of it sounds extremely dated now.
I love it although lately its getting harder and harder to find the type of fullon sound that I love. Some hate that sound and call it cheesy but I personally love it.

I like the genre. I mix it constantly with other genres of trance and it sound good together.

huge fan. Became a fan with the old pulse, goa head, order donata and destination goa comps. Nowadays its mostly progressive but still some full-on from time to time. Wizzy noize still cranks it
som of my favorites from the mid 90s
Chakra & Edi Mis - X Files ( Monkey Mix )
Mystica - Ashes to Ashes (awesomeness)
Chi A.D. - Biocandy (Much better then 'astral warrior' imo)
and ofcourse the unforgettable
The Muses Rapt - Spiritual healing

The whole album is full of stuff like that.
Pumping, original, cheese-free full-on. Yes, it can actually be done!

The best full on album is still Cosma - Nonstop

I think that John 00 Fleming Coloursfest set in Ireland a few years ago was psytrance....that was some good stuff!
