underbar is a really cool place, its kind of like 960, very intimate, and you will be able to stand right next to the dj booth if you want. They are cool dudes, so im sure you will meet them . No jerk bouncers, staff is way cool, people are great. you will def enjoy the night!

hahahah

omgosh just wait!! these guys are great!!

heres my reivew from last november...and please keep in mind how EXHAUSTED I WAS! we went to armin the night before...i drove home to ct at 7am napped and came back for more!!

quote:
What a great great great show!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so exhausted from Armin that I was seriously doubting myself!! I took the ride back to NY with like 4 cans of red bull by my side!!

Have no fear though- it was IMPOSSIBLE to stay tired once the show started!! Dany Veltri opened up and gave us some nice progressive beats to start and slowly brought us all up to speed. Once Kyau & Albert came on I was definitely ready! Those boys can definitely rock a room!!! Ralph (Kyau) was so incredibly into the show it would have seemed ILLEGAL not to jump around with him!! Steven (Albert) was a very intense DJ...I found myself staring waiting for a smile...then...it came...He just looked up and you could tell- he was just patiently waiting for this right here he smiled so BIG and just rocked out! (if Im not mistaken that was around the time they dropped 6am...? but honestly, I was SO into the set that the tracks and when they were dropped are all jumbled in my head now!)

There was a lot to look forward too still, though....Ronski!! He dropped radio crash- which for me, was my first (finally) time to hear it in a club!! I was in HEAVEN!! Everything from Satellite, Big Sky, All the Way, These Shoulders, In and Out of Love. We of course got to listen to New York City and Silence. I think I regrettibly missed Alone Tonight on a much needed bathroom/water break Space We Are...cant go wrong...I love that tune...I love it even more when Ronski is playing...LOL...One song I really really wanted to hear, though, that we didnt- was Ronski's remix of Renegade. Its a newly discovered remix for me and I would have probably lost my shit if it was played...But alas, it wasnt. Next time The ONLY thing this event was missing....my damn elyse!! I need to win lotto so we can stop this silly working thing...

Thank you again to t.nu for the tickets and UBER thank you to Dany, Kyau & Albert and Ronski..... WHAT A NIGHT!!!

hahaha that picture of ralph jumping (i cannot tell if that's steven next to him in the hat?) is hilarious. he was even funnier at rise back in feb 08. if you guys were there and remember the look on his face when he played their remix of 6am, hahahaha priceless. he was like a little kid who just got a present for the holidays (and mostly likely drunk). its a shame i cant go, but the next time they're in boston im 100% sure i will be there! have fun and take some great pics/vids for me.

if im not mistaken this picture was taken durring 6am

yeah they were both pretty psyched....and so was the entire crowd!! It was awesome because the crowd was pretty much ALL us TA-ers and anyone else we knew- everyone else bailed bc they were all at Armin the night before. so it wasnt too crowded and they really got to interact with us

and yes, thats steven next to him

every time i've been there they've never enforced any rules saying who can and can not be up there... my guess is it'll be the same tonight

sick show... well worth the $16.95

Posted by Elyyse on Jun-26-2009 09:11:

AMAZING OMG!! I freakin loved that show, soooo much fun! When K&A ever dropped Megashira I almost had a heart attack, never mind Steven singing some live vocals for us too!!.. And they actually kept playing song after song, asking us if we wanted more (hell yes!!) We got to hear 6AM & Lost tooo.. .such beautiful tracks havent heard them in so long... ahh such a fun night!

Randys opening was great too!! Stupid traffic on storrow drive, my god! i got to enjoy the second half of it, heard his new track Fragile with Cari Golden!... Hope everyone liked that one!!.. its amazing!!.. OOOh and we heard a Michael Jackson Tribute as well.. that somebodys watching me .. the original of the geico commercial. you guys are gunna laugh but i didnt realize until tonight that there was even an original track to the geico commercial> HAHA. omg.

Next up Randy is headlining Saturday July 11th at Underbar!! Let me tell you if you havent seen him headline yet you dont know anything he is going to blow up the crappy hip hop club Caprice upstairs with the music hes gunna bring. hahahah...

okay so after all this excitement im gunna try to go to bed. NIGHT!

Posted by Greggy4202k on Jun-26-2009 13:46:

wow, that was a sick show. They brought sooooo much energy, the whole club was loving it. The place wasnt packed so there was plenty of room to dance and no waits to get drinks. some tracks I remember (or think I remember):
A&B - Lonely Girl (Gareth Emery Remix)
Dash Berlin -Man on the Run
Three Drives - Greece 2000 (Sander van Dien Remix)
AVB - Rain (i think i heard t his song,i cant remember though)
K&A - Are you Fine?
K&A - Always a fool
Cresida - Onyric (stoneface and Terminal remix)
Stoneface and Terminal -Stardust
K&A - Neo Love
K&A - Hide & Seek (remix)
K&A - Orange Bill
Lange - Out of the sky (K&A Remix)

It was a great Euphonic night!! Surprisingly, their mixing was on point all night....i expected them to play like blank & Jones: tons of energy but bad mixing.

Great to see Elysse, Sam, Paul and Randy....we were all going nuts on the floor in front of the booth.
Randy, nice opening set. I only caught the second half but what iheard was good.

WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWO!!!!!

i am so incredibly happy i made it to this event. First of all- work got in the way. Then i was so stressed out about being in boston again after last time (no i havent gone since ferry) and everything going on with shithead- I ...i cant belive im going to admit this- but i almost stayed home and hung out with shithead to talk.

Two things I learned last night:
There is no need to talk when there is a trance show
If the person you need to talk so either 1) thinks the above is wrong or even more importantly 2) has no intentions of going to said trance show then...

THERES NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT!!!! GAME OVER!! hahaha

Frist i have to say- Gregg i think you are the only person that matches- even exceeds me and Elyse's energy!! I FREAKING LOVE IT!!! I wish you came to NYC more often omgosh!! What fun!

It was so great to see everyone- im not naming names for fear i leave someone out!! You are are fabulous and i was really happy to see so many of you/meet you!!

Yes, we missed the first half of randys set, but its ok at least we made it there...WHAT A SET... LONELY GIRL!! Thank you Randy!! And we came in JUST as Randy was dropping his new tune...which I LOVE and by the looks of the faces on everyone on the dance floor they loved it too! Wikked energy and great vocals!

It was so great finally seeing randy again too- i havent in so long.... Have i mentioned yet that I refuse to miss anymore shows...omg im so dissapointed in myself!

KYAU & ALBERT HAHAHA

JESUS CHRIST

As expected Rald (Kyau) was all energy from the second they went on. Steven (Albert) was really into his DJing and the music and as I realized is the one doing a majority of the mixing!!

I am NEVER EVER dissapointed with these guys. Honestly i need more!! I honestly enjoyed- adored! Each and evry song!!

I missed 6am bc i suck ass and must have been smoking And I specifically said I wanted, NEEDED to hear that song last night! damn

We got L.E.D.- that was randy not k&a, but just thought of that- still love that one!

Im going in no order btw-

When Are You Fine came on i lost my shit. I love that song and in my angery at the world attitude lately i just adore it. Not only that but Mr Albert sang it TO US!! WOOOHOO the energy from the tow of them screaming along with us was just too much!!

Out Of The Sky- one of my favorites!! I know some of you think this is cheese, I, However, love it and its just one more tune to jump up and down to while screaming along with elyse! yes yes yes!!

Hide and Seek and Hooked on Infinity- completely forgot to expect these!!!

Cresida - Onyric (stoneface and Terminal remix)---YEAAAAAAAHHH ive been waiting to hear this in a club yes!!

Man On the Run!! Oh man i love it!! Randy came down at this point and started dancing with us- its the first time weve actually had the pleasure to dance with him!! Usually he has to leave or is getting ready for another set or its just plain not feasible. YEAHHH so much fun!!!

Faithless & Cass Fox- Music Matters.....I had a hard time falling for this song a couple moths ago but Kris O'Neil played it and I love him and trust that he loves good music so i let myself fall. In addition, no one plays it- so i cant hate it. But last night it was SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! love it. such a nice old school feel to those vocals!! the break...FUCK YES thats just SIK in a club and i dont care WHO THE HELL YOU are- even if you hate this song you can NOT DENY that the break and lead are just sik and you must bow down and love it. thank you.

I know im going to think of like 5 other songs that really impressed me, but right now- im kinda starting to get tired. Got home at 4:30am. Woke up at 6:30 am been at work for 2 hours now and kinda ready to go home! hahaha

The club, btw, cute little intimate place. Not too much room to dance- bc its more of a lounge, but that was ok bc it wasnt packed. which was fun- it meant everyone was there for a reason- the show! and you can dance and not be in peoples ways. In addition it mean VIP was open as earlier expected leaving even more comfort zone to relax and enjoy.

And whats better then dancing around a club WITH the DJs as they wait to go on, or after their sets!! Love that about small places, they just come out and are part of the crowd

thanks to everyone! so happy had so soooo much fun! AND THANK YOU BOYS!! RANDY, RALPH, and STEVEN!! wooohooO!!! you all are amazing!

hahahahaha, I agree. If there's a good show, the talking can wait.

Posted by wildstar75 on Jun-26-2009 17:49:

Great show, anybody know the 2nd or 3rd song they played... It had a sort of chanting vocal to it, with kind of a housey feel, nice track! I think they started playing Velvet Morning at the end, but then turned it off before the vocals started. Nice guys, nice set!

Posted by Greggy4202k on Jun-26-2009 21:47:

naw, i dont think it was velvet morning, it's some other track thati just cant think of the name right now.

ya, last night was fun. I had a lot of pent up energy to be released and I was psyched to start my vacation with this show, so i was celebrating...havent gone out since ferry, so it was a much needed .....

Sam, I don't make it down to NYC much, long drive and I got no where to stay. But electric zoo day 2, here i come!!

Posted by Danila on Jun-26-2009 22:20:

Talking

Awesome night!!

It was nice meeting some TA's, Elyyse and Chris, it was good to meet you. I don't remember other names, even though all I had to drink is 6 glasses of water with lime..

I talked with K&A outside after the show for 10 minutes, that was awesome.. I guess Boston does has it's advantages in terms of big names playing relatively small venues.

The last track K&A never finished was Made of Sun

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q8ZwbaaMXhk

It's a killer tune, they ended it right before the best part too. Randy did a great job opening, third time I see him, good stuff.

Cheers!
