Am I the only one that didn't really enjoy his set? He didn't play like I was expecting him to play after his set in November.
I still had a great time though. That was one of the most fun nights I've had out in a while!
fun fun night-
Loved the tunes, even though my feet were killing me. Why do I continue to wear high heels to Footwork?
Nice to jam with old friends and celebrate Sarah!

I've been dying to see Burridge for quite some time now, and to be honest, I was pretty disappointed. It's not that he played bad (he definitely did not) but I felt like he never "brought it". He was WAYYYYYYY too up and down. He seemed to me to play a few amazing tracks and seriously be bumping it, then he'd tone it down to the point where I was just standing and tapping my foot (for those of you that know me, standing and tapping my foot is very irregular for me at a party). I'll admit I was pretty damn tired and not in the best of moods that night so I kept more to myself, but my expectations for Burridge included the roof being blown off the place. The hilight definitely was the blow up animals, <3 seahorse!!
Anyway, although I wasn't completely enthralled by his set on Saturday, I'll definitely be catching him next time he's back and I expect some disorder with a side of destruction!

| Originally posted by infinity HiGH With Burridge you should always expect the unexpected. He always brings quality music but it's not always a "tear-the-roof-off" experience. Sometimes it'll be a little more subdued (which is what I'd sum up Saturdays set as) and sometimes he'll pound the shit out of the club. Catch him 3 times and you should start to understand the randomness to his pattern. |

I think the problem is some of you take music way too seriously, lol. You can't spell analyzing without anal for a reason.
