why? everybody dies.

Posted by Clovis on Jun-25-2009 22:01:

His death is the smaller tragedy within the scope of a brilliant mind and life consumed, chewed up, and spit back out by pop culture and the media, to the point where the dude completely lost his mind.

I wasn't trying to be funny.

Posted by Palladium on Jun-25-2009 22:02:

i guess because i like the artist so much despite his creepyness

Posted by stren on Jun-25-2009 22:03:

artistically he's been dead for 20 years, that is true

I agree, Michael Jackson made great elevator music

This will be yet another profit making excursion, shall we call it

posthumous extravaganza?

Posted by Palladium on Jun-25-2009 22:06:

TMZ seems the only one claiming him dead at the moment

Posted by yukii on Jun-25-2009 22:06:

i can't believe this.

WTF is going on in this world?!!!?!!1

First Spain loses.
now.. people dying.

R.I.P Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, & Michael Jackson

Posted by itsamemario on Jun-25-2009 22:07:

I would also blame his messed up childhood.

I really cant believe this, he was one of my favorite artists. SO many good songs from him. Even though he hasnt been the same for a good decade and a half he was still one of the best of all time. RIP

Posted by Frenchie on Jun-25-2009 22:07:

Why was it wrong? He's got a point. Michael Jackson 2000's was not the Michael people liked and idolized in the 80's. Shame , yes. but the fact remains he was brilliant.

Lots of people have messed up childhoods, few people have ever been as big of a celebrity as him.

50 is too damn young though

Posted by wotyzoid on Jun-25-2009 22:12:

Yeah CNN didn't confirm anything yet.

Posted by Frenchie on Jun-25-2009 22:12:

Reuters only confirms what TMZ says.
