I think you people should also stop hammering Korea, The big teams are not playing there best against them and Korea are taking full advantage. Quit moaning and praise the semi final teams, You say they are shit because they aint got world class players, but remember they are the players who are beating the owrld class players.

If they weren't playing in Korea and if they were better referees, the Korea wouldn't win a single game!

If all of these world class players on all these world class teams would play at a world class level they would capitalize on all the missed opportunities that occured vs. their matches against Korea. I don't know what's happening.. i never saw so many mistakes in one world cup....I may be wrong... But don't you think this is weird???
Im not saying that they are cheating ( but not like its impossible to do it), let's say they are not....
Maybe these refrees aren't ready for Such big Important Worldwide event's.. Or they get nervous... Because they know that some little mistake they make will ruin their entire career... So they are under to much pressure.. Which forces them to make mistakes! remember that referee's dont have TV suport ... they can only see things from 1 angle.. and he depends totally whithin other referee's... so if they fail and say that for example he was offside... he has to believe them, as a team 'mate'... It's very hard to be a refree in a world cup.. ehhee.... i can't even imagine.. And wen they make mistakes we WILL blaim them! and swear them! and maybe want to kill him lol.... But wen we say that the refree cheated us or got paid.. we forget that, wen ur in the field! and there are 2 NATIONS facing each other! and 40 000+ people watching the game!(not even mentioning people that are watching it on Tv...) and some shit happens! You have to make a decision! and you better make it quick! Imagine how much pressure these dude's r in???? So they sometimes judge things by a total diferent angle that U in your TV room, with all these cameras angles , etc , is... Does this means that it's ok with them to make mistakes???? NO IT's NOT! But their human for god's sake's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you really think they would want to put in risk their entire career because he wants Team A or Team B get to the finals... At least i wouldnt.... dont know about you guys.... So maybe these people arent ready for this...... And its all FIFA's fault!!!!!!! or not? Maybe they are getting EXTRA MONEY!!!!!!... will we ever know??? heheh! I DONT THINK SO!! Trust me, I reviewed each and every one of them(you have to do stuff like that when your betting large sums of money.) Did they get lucky a few times? Yes. But they got some calls against them. There are huge screens on each stadium that replayes everything thats going on, the referee in the Brazil Vs. Belgium askd Marc Wilmots to forgive him for cancelling his goal which BTW was fully legal.
They can check the replay and base their descision over it, but they choose not to, the only good referees in this tournament are Frisk from Sweden and Collina from Italy which will definitley reff the Final.

As for you miss_e, you have no idea how much you are wrong, in any other field without your home advantage and your magnificent crowd, Korea will lose to Italy, to Spain and to Portugal, Hell even to USA and Poland.

Well those screens in the stadium can't change something about the call of a referee,what would a referee be,if he makes a call and then two seconds afterwards he changes his call,he would lose his credibility.What should happen is a referee at the side that can overrule him,even then there will be some calls that will rise a discussion but I think a great deal of mistakes will dissapear.Anyway if the FIFA would have used the best referees instead of referees from so many different countries,it would have been bether thanx Mr Blatter,screw him and all the other guys that voted for him for his re-election!
It's really ridicoulous Collina is the best ref out there and he only judged one game,and a few games as 4th ref but what does that mather

Theres a lot of gloating and boasting from the Koreans. I can sort of understand it in some ways as they've never ever been a good team since their stint in 1966, its bit like if Saudi Arabia or something if they reached far.

I think its the way this world cups gone its been bollocks basicially, too many scandels, and its not been smooth enough, the ball is like a kids fucking plastic football for a starters. A lot of very controversal refree decisions too, and no hooligans.

At the end of the day I enjoy seeing fair play in games, hence why I have kicked off a bit earlier about this all. Koreans are celebrating, and I know their over the moon they got far, and 1000s threads about them doe's get annoying and rubs it in, but I think the best way to deal with this by ignoring it all, and look forward to 2006 when we can watch football at a decent hour, and in EUROPE!.

you look at that call from the spain match, that ref has his eye on the line,,u watch it in slow mo.he puts his flag up after the fact, not during. what does that tell you ??,the after fact is a sign of rethinking ones thought.and what was this guy thinking??.how much he would get paid for making that call. he waited to see what was happening after the fact.if the ball went anywhere else other than the goal im sure his flag would be down..

Im 100% for teams coming through as a surprise..but when this happens it makes me sick. im not a die hard soccer fan but this case is similar to European cycling..each race is usually bought and sold for world cup points, in the past it was , im not so sure about now.drugs has turned this sport dirty, its a cheats sport.watching an event which maybe won before the race even starts is just killing the sport..

Im not out to bash korea but when there is so many Ref mistakes in these matches which korea win ,, well it has to make you wonder..
