yea i would sort of come off like a bitch sometimes in the offices i've worked because i'm not into going to lunch every day with my coworkers...at least not until i get a really good feel for how they are and if i like them, then i will. but for the most part i had that attitude like "i'm here to work and make money, not make friends".

everyone is always "cool" in the beginning and then you start working with them for a while and you see how they really are and then you're stuck being "work buddies" with someone you can't stand and it's stressful to go to work. lol as you can probably tell, it's happened to me. i learned my lesson from that.

this crazy bitch i worked with and didn't trust as far as i could throw her drove me insane. she just recently found me on myspace and requested me too and i was like FUCK

lol

Plus the whole, "I'm not a lesbian but I would fuck you anyway" thing. That was lulz.

Um, ok? I was just commenting that it's nice being in an office where everybody enjoys both working and hanging out after work with each other. We try to do a happy hour or bbq every week or two - nothing crazy, which helps build repoire without getting awkward. Also helps that there are 10 females and only 2 males...

Yeah, you beat me. All I can see from my window is Barack Obama's house.

as much as i hate to admit it, sitting on your arse doesn't count as having a job, much less an office.

I can't believe I did either. I may very well have ruined the thread. :/

P.S. - Have you ever made out with Liza Minnelli?

Posted by Slylee on Jul-08-2009 01:46:

the owner/manager loves me though and she's already talking about me being the property manager after renovations are done. it was a nice little streak of luck me finding that gig i'm happier than a pig in shit right now. and she pays me under the table for now so i can get unemployment

What I've done with Lucille 2 is between me and my mother.

lol no not really. i get to wear flip flops and shorts. it's fuckin great. my boss is this hippy lesbian from germany and her parents own it and put her in charge. her mom called from germany and i answered and she raved about how lucky she is to have found me and i'm doing a great job, etc... it's so funny i impress her by doing the easiest shit she thinks i'm wonder woman lol i'm used to a lot more workload and stress working at law firms, this is cake compared to that. the only thing i've had to learn is quickbooks which is really user friendly so i'm golden. everything is done old school style. no fancy computer programs to learn for checking people in, etc... there's only 21 units. it's mostly repeat customers with that "mom & pop" vibe.

there's a french canadian dude who rented a unit from jan-april of next year. it's costing him like 14gs to stay there i can't believe how much money some people have.

Haha, that would be close to rent for a nice 1BR here over four months.

Posted by Slylee on Jul-08-2009 02:20:

i know right

Posted by Frenchie on Jul-08-2009 02:23:

14 grand a month or for the whole stay?

Posted by Slylee on Jul-08-2009 02:25:

for the whole stay. 89 days i think.

you could find a random rental by the month for like 2gs a month.
