Clovis you have a Pm
Was listening to this all day at work yesterday... definitely your best mix yet, and I absolutely LOVE the first few songs. "When Love Feels Like Crying" has become an instant favorite of mine since I heard it a few weeks ago. I like how you play the individual songs for a little while, giving them space to breathe, instead of hurriedly mixing out into another track. A few songs here and there weren't my cup of tea, and I felt tended to drag a tad, but that's just personal preference.
Hopefully you will get some more big name gigs, and maybe even get a chance to play out in NY one day.
This shit has been rocking my new speakers hard. The set feels a little boring in places (yeah I know it's a warmup set), but most is cool. There's 4 or 5 great tracks here and there.
Excellent choice of tracks. Took one glance and thought to myself
"Wow, this man knows how to open a room up properly." grabbing now,
comments to come soon.
good mix.. gotta give it to ya it isn't easy opening a main room
13 mins in and looking forward to the rest, curious as to what's coming later on...
Thank you for all the comments guys, good or bad, I was very nervous for this night and to play a set with no big fuckups and that I think is halfway decent, I was very happy.

in on this
oooh I want to hear this.
GraBBBBing
A proper opening set means a lot to me, and I know that you share the same opinion, Clovis. Having said that, this set was exactly the type of opening set I would've expected you to play before Burridge. The mixing, the ambiance and flow were all spot-on. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this and it will definitely be seeing more playtime.
Again, congrats.

Clovis man, this set is such a pleasure! The first couple of tracks do a really good job of setting up the rest of the mix. At some points the music I found was very melancholic and overall very deep. Fantastic job man! Nothing to fault.
My only complaint: name your files better so I don't have to spend 10 finding it in my MP3 player! (I sort my music by album title, and in this instance you had simple named it "album"). No biggie though it was worth it
Fucking great stuff. Really enjoyed listening to this, great vibe, plenty of tunes that I would've loved to have heard on that system.
Great job man!
Looks interesting d/l 'ing now.

Haha, yeah. Wasn't really being serious, that was just my last avatar.
And Clovis I gave this a listen, was an extremely well done opening set, great job on that. I loved a lot of the tracks individually and the flow was really nice, but I gotta say as usual with these sets, I find myself getting bored. That's just me though.
I think getting a little boring is part of opening, makes the fun moments stand out more and keeps people wanting more
good set all around Clovis
Great track after great track here...and overall very poised set in direction and progression, great opener for whoever that followed.
