recently got the amd X2 550 black -- awesome performance for the value... dont think i touch 20% in my daw, using 24 channels or so.

I'm going to get on of this "Intel core 2 quad q8200" (my budget is low at this moment)

so what do you guys think about this one? I found info about it but gamming related, nothing about music production.

if I can work without freezing instruments anymore I'm really happy.
