Come down and support the epic trance in perth. I was trying to really push the epic before i left and now its finally starting to slowly go somewhere.

Hey fellow Perth Trance Heads.
Trance is the F*#ken music. All this progressive stuff that is around now is alright but it just doesn't give me goose bumps or make me want to dance. I think the only good Trance DJ around Perth is Adam Kelly. I can't think of any others.
As with quality trance tracks the only way to really get good ones is to go on the internet. I've been getting tracks that are amazing really uplifting, the stuff that Tiesto is playing NOW. And plus u are able to find quality tracks from the home of Trance i.e. Germany and Holland.
I've been Djing a while now and I'm trying to get the oppurtunity to play out at raves and stuff. So if anyone can make a Trance night somewhere and needs a DJ, I'll definately be interested in playing some of my records. I've played at that revelation thing at the glass house which was fun. I'll be playing there again on the August the 16th so if anyone wants to hear some quality Trance come down.

Well no I haven't checked out Frenetic at the rosemount. I live south of the river so a trip to the rosemount requires alot of effort. But I might check it out some time. Well it is good to hear there are some DJ's belting out trance.

Being a long time lover of the trance i do find myself thinking "Where the hell can i here some good quality trance around here?" All the "big" clubs play mainly shite imo. Rise/The Church/Metros (i have to go where my mates go.. sigh) all play shit that i wouldn't be caught dead listening to at home.
BTW when's this Gig at Club A going down? Sounds great. Have i jumped in to late or is it still happening?
Also somneone mentioned something about Van Dyk playing monotone proggy stuff? Are they talking about his recent set at the Globe cause i was there and he was playing plenty of banging/uplifting trance.

the Club A thing sucked. where were the anthems? less than 10% of the songs were epic/uplifting and you kept changing your style.
dude, if your not going to play all the epic anthems, then say so. it would have prevented me from wasting my money.
There was a period when silence and flight 647 were played together. that was almost worth my $5.
i left when it was getting harder, couldn't stand it anymore. did the music improve toward the end? maybe a little airwave or chicane?
yes the club a event did suck a dick. But in defense of joe cool it wasnt his fault, i was talking to him about it. The guy djing for 95% of the night was the owner and resident of club a, and wouldnt let joe play any tracks. Joe cool left at around 1:30, me and my friend thought fuck it and danced like retards on one of the boxes and ended up having an alright night.
