Ok mate here we go

First I got to ask you did you program this on the spot or did you have it already in your head ?

I really liked the start the first 12 minutes are brilliant that version of the angst I didin't know it was so sweet until I heard it in this mix.

I like how well gradually you kept bringing up the tempo until minute 31 where I think is where the mix really kicks of . everyhting is sounding good up till now, except that i would think if Iam going to do and epic mix this long maybe I should let some of these tracks have a little bit less act on the mix.

Interesting track btw

Nick Hook - Enhanced (James Harcourt Remix)

I was waiting for "cloudy bay" , one of my fav Martin buttrich tracks i can say it wa well blent and well dropped i like how you killed the bass of the former track and gave this one a roll . it gave the whole mix a refresh . major props on dropping it .

after Sivesgaard - Inner Orbit (Noir Remix) I realized you went deep and slowed the tempo which is understandable because it was going into the peak time direction and for a long mix like this one it was too soon.

That track "the drugs" reminds me of a marylin manson song "dope show " maybe

That "oxid" track is sick dude so far is the best stuff from this lovin every second of it.

I had never heard the original of welcome to Zion , I alwaysheard the sebo k version , the original is nice mate.

done with first part ... second part coming up soon

Thanks Haziel, glad your enjoying it mate.
I did spend some time arranging the tracks around to see what mixed well together. Was kinda a mix of planning and spontaneous playing. This was done in one take after after this.
I also feel that I dragged some of the tracks out too much, just couldn't be arsed to try recording a set this long again.

The tempo gradually builds throughout the mix, but like you say I lowered the energy with some deeper stuff in the middle so as keep the mix peaking too early. I find it hard to maintain interest playing only one genre so I like to branch out as a way of building energy and to keep it interesting.

I also didn't realise that Cloudy Bay was that old. I'd only heard it recently but it's a sick track to mix stuff with.
