Nu Nrg & Murphy Brown - Aloa P (Mr Pink remix) is THE best Nu NRG track imo. This was from their Orgasmatron May 5 2002 set. Too bad it's unreleased.

Their second best track is Freefall, also really uplifting.

Giuseppe's best solo track is def 'Through Your Eyes'

Nu-Nrg was sick. Fav track from them is "FREEFALL"

the G.Ottaviani mix of Supernature IS massive

lol

Ottaviani suffers from same syndrome that most trance producers have nowadays. make one good track, then every track sounds similar to that one good track. has he done any track that had more darker, edgier feel that used to be part of nu nrg sound? seems like he's doing everything uplifting crap

some decent tracks, but nothing on the level of what he used to do as part of nu nrg

I always find his productions sound fine as a part of a trance set, but they're seldom the highlight.

Posted by skip on Jul-20-2009 09:24:

Never liked any of his tracks I've heard. I also think Nu NRG was shit.

Awesome!

ik liked Nu nrg and after their split Ottaviani still made some decent tracks. I've also seen him about two times doing a live performance and he never got me really interested. Played only his own work and it all sounded pretty repetetive and actually got really boring after a while.

nothing I'm going to see a third time

well he only does live sets and is not a DJ so he only plays his own music of course. I understand some people might think this is boring but me personally I love to see him actually play his instruments. and you can hear his music always sounds different because he plays it live.

Just a shame he does not play in the States more often. There is a great video on his website and on youtube from where he was in New York.

So is Nu-Nrg - Last Experience ever going to get released?

Yeah thats not unreleased, Discogs link above. Its just quite rare and unnaturally expensive to buy. Also AFAIK its not the best pressing.

Last Experience 2001 is the last (mixed) track on the second Nu NRG album. I doubt it will get a full release knowing Vandit.

Posted by Yohan on Jul-20-2009 19:29:

wasn't there some remixes of Last Experience that got released?

Posted by tortoise on Jul-20-2009 19:46:

^^^^ Giuseppe did one and so did Digital Nature. both have been released. i like the original unreleased and the GO mixes the best.

Posted by Nostalgic on Jul-20-2009 20:04:

Yeah those mixes were pretty forgettable, the original is still by far the best.

I like his older sound when it still sounded like Nu NRG. Tracks like
Linking People,
Until Monday,
Clambake

He started off with great promise, but slowly went down the same road as so many others, Tom Colontoni is another similar producer that springs to mind.

He now just produces very forgettable tracks that lack originality.

Nu Nrg produced tracks that I thought were in a different league, I don't think there were many artists with a similar sound, Where as G.O sounds very similar and samey to a load more producers out there.

Possibly in the minority but I was always a fan of Mirage, but they produced a few memorable tunes.

wuts the release date on silver sand

Posted by WardC on Aug-13-2009 17:55:

"Our Dimension" and "Silver Sand" will likely be released on Giuseppe's upcoming artist album titled "GO" -- the album is set for release this September or October. I have word that Giuseppe has just finished mixing and finalizing the studio album. I am not sure if the format will be a mix or if there will be seperate tracks. We have been waiting for "Our Dimension" for quite awhile, over a year now.
