Considering I know many people who have worked on designing the original Lunar Lander, no it wasn't fake.

I'm all for people being allowed to voice their opinions and discussions in appropriate level (of consideration and respect to others) with regards to those who believe in Moon landing taken place, and those who believe that Moon landing was faked.

Why? I see some people equalled challenging the Moon landing to denying Holocaust. But whats a better analogy is having this forum being equated to living in Venezuela or Saudi Arabia, where only certain views and opinions are accepted, and the rest are harassed, ridiculed or shut up.

Is PDD a Chavez-like forum, or is it a productive and democratic forum? I'm telling you, most TA's have already become "refugees" and "immigrated" to other forums because of Gestapo tactics and Chavez-like moves by quite a few number of folks on here.

Posted by Magnetonium on Jul-22-2009 20:11:

So, once again, can someone please recommend a good political website forum for people of various political directions and beliefs?

Much appreciated. Sooner or later, at this pace, I'll be outta here just like many others and a few remaining elitists can remain and fight each other for eternity to come.

I'm sure others will join me as well.

I would make the counterargument to your last point; I think more people have moved on to other forums because of reasons this thread more than embodies.

And the main reason I would compare denying the moon landing and denying the holocaust is that they both require an overwhelming dismissal of nearly all the evidence to be true. I mean, like Krypton posted, you can actually see the shit we left on the moon from space.

That shit could have been left from a different mission.

But anyway, I am not in denial over the Moon landing because to me it is irrelevant, as I stated in my first 2 posts on this thread. But the attitudes and voices I've heard totally show why so many people have left this forum. There's just no life here anymore, because people who try starting discussions get their asses annihilated by people who come here to make themselves feel better by thrashing others. They should get a life. I come here for a lively, varied discussion, which once existed to a certain extent on this forum. Even if I have a certain viewpoint on the issue, I dont want everyone to agree with me and everything I say and post the same shit that I think and like. That would be retarded.

Posted by Moongoose on Jul-22-2009 22:00:

Only people who try to start stupid discussions or enter valid discussions with ridiculously outrageous arguments get their asses annihilated. The opposite sides in a debate dont always have the equally valid arguments, and if someone is making ridiculous arguments on one side with no valid data to support his claims, sooner or later they will hit an unbreakable wall built with solid facts that supports the other side. Sadly the usual result of that is that the losing side calls the other side blind fucktards and leaves the pdd forever.

Speaking of which, anyone seen Trancer-X lately, or have the agents of the conspiracy finally gotten my memo that the man knows toodamn much and has to be eliminated or our world domination plan will fail.

you could try the JREF skeptics forums, but i suspect you'd only cry and complain there too.

You actually think we should entertain such stupid assertions that Apollo 11 was faked? Like I said, there is a different between legitamite skepticism and just being an idiot. Should we also entertain the idea the US government was behind 9/11? Give me a break...

If you or anyone else can't handle criticism, then maybe you should go somewhere else. I find it odd you actually believe that by going to another political forum, you won't find the same criticism there. It's politics, don't expect everyone to be all, "ladidadi, let's all be friends", especially when the topics at hand are utterly ridiculous conspiracy theories...

Yes it could have, but you making that claim, the burden of proof is on you to prove it.

Again, criticism is to be expected in a political forum. Don't take it personally, jeez...

Don't go the way of colorut and trancer who only do "hit and run" posting, then scurry away at the first hint of skeptical criticism.

Whatever. Nothing else to post for me here.

You guys still don't get it ... I'm not in the same camp as Trancer-X or LatinLover. And I'm pretty clear on the issue.

I'm outta here. One less elitist forum to worry about - I googled dozens of interesting forums already.

Who's next?

none the less there is tons of info why this is fake, but I won't doubt buzz and the other moon people, theyve came in on other conspiracies/ufo's etc.. so unless it is a cover it seems real.

the current videos COULD be fakes cause they are news copies, but chances are that it is plausable both ways.

This is a public fact that won't be dismissed for the public history until a lot of evidence comes out into the mainstream and I mean real evidence.

without the source video it is all geusswork as the original was taped over by NASA as a cost saving mechanism.

the radio waves would be in space from the broadcast... why not point to them and see. unless a probe was sent out to mimic it

There is absolutely no way the moon landing could have been faked during the 60s at the height of the cold war. Impossible. Any other conclusion is idiotic.

Posted by Damerchi on Jul-23-2009 14:55:

Magnetonium that's a shame, hope you'll come back man.

Before I say anything else, I want to state that I wholeheartedly conclude that the American's landed on the moon. I understand the nature of the situation brings rise to a conspiracy-but that is a phenomenon that will always arise whenever something of this scale happens.

I do feel the forum has an anti-conspiracy tinge to it, but I fully understand it after seeing how delusional some people can be(colorut, trancer-x, etc.). We must not forget however, certain events that have occurred in recent history that can be labeled as conspiracies at face value.

-Syria's likely assasination of Hariri
-Saddam not having chemical weapons in 2003 (i was labeled as a CT for rejecting so called intelligence reports, as a 9th grader mind you)
-Numerous Israeli assasinations of Iraqi Scientists, through some "larger than fiction" methods
-Omar Torrijos's Assasination In Panama
-Iran Contra Affair
-CIA arming on the PKK side in the mid 90's in the kurdish civil war, who they list as a terrorist organization
-my claims about the personal ruthlessness of individual UAE royalty(affirmed with vid released of sheikh issa torturing an afghan using many methods)
-Ramzan Kadvyrov being responsible for the murder of human rights workers/journalists
-Any general claim of corruption in a political infrastructure that lacks the ability to effectively investigate.
-Al Qaeda not having Batman Bunkers inside the mountains.
-Mubarak is a puppet
-Medvedev is a puppet
-X, Y, and Z are puppets

There is obviously many factors to take into account, and it largely depends on your knowledge of a given region. My examples are obviously exceptions rather than rules in the vast pool of conspiracy theories, since i can come up with a conspiracy right now about anything.

for example: Who killed Michael Jackson? Ahmadinejad. Think about it, it completely turned away the media frenzy, and without the international attention the Iranian movement subsided.Wake up u fuckin' sheep!.... I am pretty sure by chance there are thousands of people completely spending their time "researching" this theory.

Your views will always be seen as "sheepy" by someone, so you can't let that affect you either. Almost all of us are sheep to American/British propaganda in the eyes of the Iranian regime, and our justification of our rational beliefs will be seen as "conspiracy against god".

The burden of proof is on you prove your outlandish claims.

who the fuck is they?

look at the bbc and they will show some shots they broadcasted live a few hours ago of a space walk. Why don't you divert your attention to that, be an original CT ffs, stop being a fuckin' sheep that wastes his time on the mainstream moon landings, in which "they" proved without a shadow of doubt that it was a hoax! Dig deeper man!

Valid evidence on online?

Just pick a side. Either you think it's fake or it isn't.
