Amazing mashup...

I think the full thing is fairly long, ballpark around 10 minutes or so.

The Broken Toys version really doesn't compare to this, and Markus often plays this upon request too, which is great

Loved Remember Magnetic North when it came out!

I like both of those songs, so its good, but I'd like to hear some of the string samples from Remember.

What's wrong with Cannibal Corpse?

Haha, Cannabis Corpse is even better!

Mummified In Bongwater ftw!

as far as vocal trance goes Id say Remember is one of the best out there. the 12" mix especially. with that groovy bassline and beautiful guitar... it's bliss . even if the lyrics are a bit generic, so what? it's a simple love song.

Magnetic North is brilliant as well. I have some great memories of Airdrawndagger as a whole. as Clovis said one has to experience it in the right setting. I was listening to it a whole lot while I was up in northern ontario one time, among the lakes and wildlife, and it cast a spell on me.

this mashup is alright. nothing to write home about really but the originals are both classics.

I remember listening to ESCM on a frosty morning in the countryside once and it was painfully beautiful. These moments are special, but I don't get that feeling with ESCM every time I play it. In the right moment I can believe Airdrawndagger is perfect.

I really do miss those days when GDJB was 4 hours long and you knew damn well Markus would drop this one of the hours!

Had the pleasure of hearing Markus play this out

It just brings back merry times.. Will love this tune, always!

Remember was one of the first EDM tracks I ever heard when I was given BT's R&R as a gift when I was in college. I am still quite fond of it because of the memories it brings back of those days. This mashup is great. I wish it was available for download somewhere...

Posted by denys envy on Jul-29-2009 19:13:

been looking for this one forever. blake jarrell was going to ask MS for it, but i'm pretty sure he forgot.

At first I thought I found it on rapidshit, but it was a different version, that I've never heard, that had been given the same name 'Remember Magnetic North'. So instead I just used downloadhelper and downloaded the HQ stream of it from you tube, and used media-convert.com to change it from .flv to .aac

Give me a few days and I can get this track.

Posted by malaplace on Jul-30-2009 04:46:

Sounds like there is a bounty out there for it. That would be awesome if someone could find it.

Ultimate bump.

No one will get the full version. iirc, Schulz said he is the only one having it and won't send it out to anyone. Wasn't there an extended, unreleased version of "Magnetic North" used for it? Furthermore I really doubt IF Blake gets it, that he is just gonna throw it up for everybody.

I warn you it'll probably be at 192kb/s. The source ain't exactly Vegas and it ain't exactly legal.

EDIT: Sorry guys, this is just a mislabelled copy of Remember (Sasha Remix).

Posted by Blake_Jarrell on Jul-30-2009 17:00:

i asked markus for it back in the day and dont remember what his response was...

to be honest you are better off making your own though.

that one is all out of time and the tools to pull off something like this today are much better compared to back then.
