LOL I AGREEE BUT I THINK UNCLE ED SHOULD BE NUMBER 1

anyone but deadmau5. eco def deserves to be in top 100. I think Cosmic Gate will make a huge jump this year.

Here are a few guys that miss the cut that should undoubtedly be on this "list."

Steve Porter - Top notch productions and an even better DJ. Anyone seen his youtube vids lately? They're hilarious.

Mark Farina - Hands down, BEST deep/funky/soulful house DJ in the business. Never plays a track for more than 3 minutes and whips through at least 20 tracks an hour.

Jeff Mills - A true pioneer that gets a lot of attention in other parts of the world. Best 3 deck mixer I've ever seen.

Laurent Garnier - Truly a DJs DJ. I'd bet a million bucks John Digweed would vote this guy number 1.

John "00" Fleming - A personal friend and fabulous DJ. Psy-trance def ain't my thing, but nobody does it better than him.

I think Armin will take the crown again this year, but the next DJ(s) to take the number one spot will most likely be Above and Beyond in my opinion

Posted by Uncle ED on Aug-03-2009 20:34:

Did anyone else take the survey afterwards? If you take it they enter you to win some dj equipment. I took it and it has nothing to do with djing! LOL. They wanted to know if I had ever had an abortion or an std. What religion I was. Did I practice safe sex.

Jeez! What does that have to do with anything? And what in the world would their magazine use that data for?

I couldn't agree more.

I always get a huge kick out of hearing people bitch about the results of the Top 100 poll like its this huge "injustice" when their favorite djs don't make it.

Its a popularity contest...literally. It doesn't judge talent. It determines who is the most popular / well known at the time.

Posted by The Vza on Aug-05-2009 06:01:

Mike Saint-Jules
Zack Roth
DJ Eco
Jason Jollins

Having lots of unprotected sex increases your chances of winning lol

Yea I took the survery too, weird questions.

I've voted, now I wish all these DJ's would quit badgering me. I already get lots of spam as it is, and now I am really just unmotivated to check any of my inboxes....it's annoying! Would I really vote for someone simply because they send me some spam? NO, most times I have my mind made up before the contest even begins.

Posted by StarSoprano426 on Aug-05-2009 12:50:

damn. I answered that question wrong then.

Posted by Frequency Frank on Aug-05-2009 12:56:
