| Originally posted by StereoPrincess lol. what's the big deal. from what i understand. they are a couple that have a kid. their kid got sick. they found out that the kid needs special care. they know their kitchen is inadequate. they plan to renovate their kitchen. they have some money saved up. ooooops. not all the treatment costs are covered. their savings disappear. they don't have money now to fix kitchen so they enter a contest. no need to always be skeptical nellies and putting people down. just fucking vote. why does everything with you people have to be difficult. you don't even need to sign in for fuck sakes. |
*sigh*

| Originally posted by ChemEnhanced this isn't meant to be mean but the sick child thing will get a lot of votes....they don't need a sterile or new kitchen because their child is sick. They wanted a new kitchen but had to spend money on medical bills and now they can't afford a new kitchen. |

If they'd been honest about it and hadn't gone into the whole sob story, I might have tossed in a vote or two. The difference between a genuine medical need and a financial need due to unforeseen medical expenses might be finespun, but it's pretty important. |

Why are you guys even debating this? Just show your support to Rachel by voting. Its a for a good cause. I don't even know her and I am showing support because it's the right thing to do. I don't think any of us are in the position to pass judgment on this situation.

you're right Kris, I don't know these people. One of the guys from the TFC supporters group that I am a part of, it's his niece.
I would hope if it was for me, there wouldn't be a question but I respect everyone's views on it.
