the set was good, but i kind of disagree with the venue change. i'm sure its better for MNS and they can fit more people and stuff, but i always thought of MNS as being in a more chill, intimate setting. playhouse feels like a smaller sized avalon, which is a bit intense for a monday night imo.

Great opening sets by Randy and Steve Prior! The flow of the night was perfect. It looks like Randy got a bit of an LA tan

i do agree with you completely. i too preferred Nacional (and even Las Palmas). I think Playhouse is a good opportunity for the MNS crew because it'll attract a lot of new people and give it a different feel for a while. I'm sure that they'll decide to change clubs once renovations are complete. I don't see the move being permanent

same experience here. i was there for Serge Devant night. the strobes were so blinding that i thought i was going to get an epileptic seizure. and my ears were ringing after since Serge was using the filters too much.

of course, i was there to support Freddy's night. Serge isn't my cup of tea and IMO, bored me to death and shitty transitions.

Sad

I agree with Cami on this one. The whole point of MNS was to have a good night full of good music in an intimate setting and avoid all the douchebags we have to see on the weekend at Avalon and Vanguard.

Sorry to all the douchbags who dont know good music(you know who you are.)but its the truth.

Now we dont even have Mondays!!!!

R.I.P MNS. I will miss you.

its a nice club but not an MNS type club. Girls were dressed up, guys were dressed up and the lights were bright at times AND the music did get too loud. to me, MNS was more about being casual, hanging with friends and listening/dancing to music in a non-Hollywood setting. Mondays arent for dressing up, thats what the weekend is for. on a Monday, we are beat from the weekend yet we still want more music with a kick back feel. oh and will there be a canopy or tent outside come the rainy season?

Hey guys, we want to thank you for your feedback on the new venue. We've been reading all the comments and will be bringing up these issues with Playhouse. Thanks again for supporting us.
