I'm excited, can't wait! The samples I've heard sound amazing and Papillon and Funnelweb are both fantastic releases. It's refreshing to hear real trance making a slow and steady comeback.

Ordered. This is the first time in a long while I've actually been excited about anything trance. Probably a lot due to not being willing to listen through all the shit, but also because the tracks I've heard so far sounds brilliant.

I guess my best way of describing the feel of it would be driving hypnotizing and dark trance. Great!

I am so incredibly pumped for this! And if Orkidea say's it is gold than it is without a doubt gold.

128 kbps preview of my final 'Two Full Moons & A Trout' remix at my MySpace page.
Feel free to let me know what you think
Released "soon" on Platipus.

http://www.myspace.com/djorkidea

You can also hear a preview of my first (more housey/proggy) remix of Way Out West's 'Ajare' on the same MySpace page. More trancey version is in-the-making too...

I really liked what you did with the Two Full Moons & A Trout remix, great work!

Anyone else catching a "Vangelis - Spiral" vibe in "Papillon"?

Posted by Lews on Sep-14-2009 07:22:

Downloading from iTunes now!

Will let you know what I think of it tomorrow!

Vowel is HOT, reminds me of AoT - Killamanjaro, just more bouncy.

The CD better be in my mail when I get home

Everyone who pre-ordered off their site, did you guys get an email stating when you'd be getting your copy? The only email I got was the one from the payment company.

I hope I get my CD soon

a week ago they told me it was in the mail, since i live all the way across the world I'm guessing another week or so.

I'm loving this album. All songs 5/5, no weak links at all.

Vowel has a niiice feel yeah. Blink is great too. Fuck they all are. It's so hard to highlight one over another. They all sound great, and I like the continuous mix as well.

Posted by ToF on Sep-15-2009 03:54:

FFS! I never got an order confirmation email. I should probably email them lol.

Anyway in the meantime I've been listening to a copy I've obtained. I like The Dark Major but to me it's awfully similar to Zero 7 - Today which I really like. So I'm not sure if I like the track because it sounds the same or I genuinely like it. Is it a rip off? Can anyone else hear the resemblance or is it just me?

Got my signed CD yesterday. It's soo good!

Just a short cut from a recent interview with Union Jack:

quote:
Union Jack: Retrospective is still very much on the cards. It’s planned for release later this year and will include a Remastered version of There Will Be No Armageddon as well as other tracks and mixes from the vaults.

Received it today and the cd package is broken. I usually don't care about it, but with the signings on the cover I can't even replace it, so annoying. Well, at least the music inside will make up for it.

Posted by GrimReaper on Sep-15-2009 16:04:

Yeh my case does also have two little cracks but luckily on the back. They should have signed the sleeve in the first place instead of the easily breaking case.

And for those still waiting for their cd, i also got the confirmation email with the shipping date of 8th Sep.
