replace "seaking" with "trance", though.
(but then replace "trance" with unicorns")
Yes.

Here we see the life cycle from new member to troll reduced to just a few weeks.

Let me rephrase myself. House would be jazz/disco electro. I can't degrade jazz or disco because its "something else" even though I don't like it. But Techno is just awful compared to Trance... Seriously I mean classic trance is so much better than classic Techno. I'm sure theres plenty of good new underground Trance out there. I haven't done much searching though.

A great trance track is a very hard find these days, but when I do, it's some of my favorite music I know.
So yes, I still like trance.
Trance was awesome in the 90's/early 00's, though the number of "trance isn't what it used to be" posts are fucking unbelievable. Trance still consistently sees quality releases.
You'd think from a forum devoted to the genre more people would be more open minded, or would at the least be willing to acknowledge that maybe the genre took a new direction that, while different, isn't necessarily bad or worse than it used to be. It's one thing to dislike what a style of music has become on a personal level, but saying that nothing good is ever released anymore is ignorant and closed minded on a level that I've never seen from such a large majority of people before.
