Look, if the guy doesn't want his track featured on the site, it's really his business. I don't know what his reasoning is, because I agree that the exposure could only sell more vinyls, but that doesn't really matter.

The fact is that his productions are his property, and he has the right to have them distributed in whatever manner he sees fit.

I can sympathize with those of you who feel his attitude is shallow, but if you don't respect his right to have the opinions he has and to ask swamper to abide by them, then you're only detracting from whatever valid points you might also be making.

I agree totally and this incident isn't exactly gonna make us delete his MP3 but it might change some peoples minds about wether they're gonna buy the vinyl or not

what a load of bullllshit! first off i do agree to 'respect the artists wishes'. but in all honesty, the guy has plenty of mp3's to download on mp3.com and his website. second off, you can tell by his post...the attitude is somewhat similar to 'im a well known producer, and nobody kissed my ass/begged to put it on this site'. well heres a big FUCK YOU airbitch. his post should have been greatful that tranceaddict is giving his monkeys ass publicity.

Smile

Respect the artist, if the artist does not want his production available for download, respect the dude. After all, it's his production not ours, so leave the dude in peace.

it's understandable if he doesn't want the track d/led or distributed on TA
but what caused this flame war was the way he stated it
you can clearly see his ignorance from his post

Who's running this site? Does he know I visit it?

not knowing that Swamper runs the site is one thing, but expecting him to know who u r is juss out of the question
i'm sure there's thousands of users on TA, it'll be pretty hard for him to remember every single one, esp the ones that have just signed up in june!
well..i don't produce or anything, so i'll never have a track featured
but if i did, it would be a honour
