It would be amazing if they could take 8 to 10 names that they can book for a major event, and make a poll out of it. The djs that get the most votes get booked

they sort of do that already

I understand that they've booked Armin and Guetta based on their popularity in the world. Since Armin is booked at every single event I don't think he's going to get that much votes if you poll the people that attend those events ( Sensation, Resolution, Bal en Blanc ). I'm sure that there's a lot of people that used to go to major events are not going to sensation because it's the same djs over and over. I'm usually raving with a decent group of people and none of them are going this year to sensation because of the line up. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure the place is going to be packed, it's just for the regulars, Armin and Guetta... is like been there, done that. We need something new and fresh!

We're already talking about Beb 2010!
Still not sure if anything will happen this year for NYE!
Tiesto & PVD are already booked so... hopefully we do get a NYE party this year and not a NY Day like last year!

u might see gareth at BeB 26 when hes a big shot like armin/ guetta. until then, keep dreaming..

I suggest you save time and energy and do just one topic for the next 10 years and lock it, because your write the same things years after years.

- oh noz! not him again!
- Why not Papa Sven, or Ritchie?
- Or about (insert random act no one ever heard about)?
- I swear if you book Offer again, me and my 300 friends will not come. That's about 30,000$ you motherf*
- How about lazers?
- VIP vs not VIP, is it worth it?
- Random shirtless sweaty gay comment
- Meh, it was good, Offer was not THAT bad.
- Malek will post pics of nice boobs.

I don't get why you beat down relentlessly on an event that doesn't appeal to you. Just let it go. Either you like or not, but you should have get it by now if it is for you.

True.

BeB does not cater to this crowd. They are after 450 clubbers who want to have one big "rave" during the year and feel they are part of the underground with 15 000 other people and tell their co-workers at the watercooler how awesome they are and how the music was good and how they danced all night long.

They are not after our money. Let's drop it. They still serve a purpose. Most people who go to BeB then become customers for more niche events and more underground music.

If big events are all about the top 100 polls, we might actually see him at big events sooner then you think, beb or otherwise.

I have to admit that 3 years ago he wasn't too bad, my girl and I had a blast we didnt pay much attention to what he was playing but it seems like it was pretty decent(aside from Joe le taxi WTF!!!).

2 years ago was a fckin disaster. So last year I didn't even bother checkin it out...actually last year I only made it to the house room in the morning for Deadmau5 and Calderone..reason being: the party was happening in the Trance room, point final. Very tough on the body and the brain for me to spend so much time getting pounded by trance bpm so I was exhausted much earlier than previous years and really regreted getting there so early (11:30PM).
I enjoyed Markus Schulz set.

Reason why you may think that we bitch and moan is that @ some point and for many many years, Bal en Blanc was amazing. The past two years sensation was amazing! So was resolution. Most people that we're looking forward for these events always tried to anticipate what great new artist get booked. But now it's the same old story, reason why people get displeased. Imagine you going to a set and you hear the same song 10 times, you'll get pissed no?

Posted by lenazi on Sep-04-2009 16:36:

vote with your dollar, because year after year bal does not listen

This is not BeB like it used to be. Different management, different goal.

For the Trance room I suggest:

Alex M.O.R.P.H. - Saw him at Circus last night, and he was FANTASTIC!!!

Menno de Jong was good last time he was here. Excellent interactivity with the crowd.

And maybe someone we haven't had before:

GEORGE ACOSTA (and ask him to bring Truth [the singer] along.)

and

SOPHIE SUGAR

or

FEI FEI

Or they could book an act that more than 10 people on Ta know about ...

Posted by Alexx G on Sep-07-2009 21:03:

haha. but guys seriously stop the suggestions. when was the last time BeB took someones advice... never (unless they suggested guetta & AvB)...

Posted by DJ_SideFx on Sep-08-2009 04:39:

Like someone said already, year after year the same DJs are getting booked
it will be fun for some1 with some time on their hand to just draw the DJ list of the BEB, resolution, Sensation events of the last 4-5 years to see how many times each DJ got booked

I think BeB are doing a smart thing, have booking arrangements with the DJs for several events, that way they bring the cost down, and regardless if we are happy or not , the events are packed and every person who moaned on TA ends up going to the shows.

So less cost and same income = more profit

I agree on the fact that at BeB they need new artistic direction, some new blood to stir things up. I think also that they need to spend some money on production like common they can do a bit better than the usual rotating lights and the nasty light tubes hanging infront of the DJ booth (Sensation 2009).
They need young people with a vision, people who understand music, and are passionate.
