i've seen a couple of morillo shows (the ones that start at midnight til when ever he is done) i know, i know different music, but i like the fact that the dj's go on at night until the morning (creates a cool vibe IMO)

the fact that its on the terrace will not stop me from going one bit but...

a) i just dont like how they advertise it as a mainroom set and change things up a week later. for that, just wait a week to advertise it if you're not sure.

b) pvds terrace set last june while decent, was a little weird because he tried playing trance, the terrace crowd just reacted weird to it so pvd never really got too into trance. so you end up getting this weird mixture between pvds version of house and trance. the whole set was just in limbo. i still managed to have an awesome time but it defiantly felt a little weird.

as to your 2nd point, I agree with you and I think that had more to do with the time than with anything else. When he started playing, it was already crack-head time for the patio so it was a little hard to throw it down in daylight like that. I think since it is a 1-5 set (like the first time he played upstairs & destroyed the place), he will hopefully be able to play what he wants cuz the lights & fog will be in full effect. Hopefully it works out that way

the opening was so sick though...

edit: and another thing that bothers me is space's bullshit advertising... they are saying "extremely rare terrace appearance." thats CRAP!!! this is now the third time hes playing there, and the last time they said it was his "first" show on the terrace which was also crap. does space really think we're all retarded or what?

LOL your hilarious man and good find on the terrace crap. I am extremely pissed now you have no idea. I was so looking forward to finally going back to the main room but this shit is blasphemy! Damn you Space you keep wrecking shit up!

At least it is still a 4 hour set but I don't think the terrace is big enough for him since the loft is now the "Techno Loft" we can't go inside there and the music be connected to the terrace.

Hmmmm I don't know what to think of this honestly. I was there this past weekend and it was a humid mess outside but since it is going to take place late November chances are it will be cold but still damn I wanted it to be in the main room so bad with the lights and all.

What is your guys take on this....?

the weather will be awesome. unless we get some freak cold week. but i doubt it.

and i think the techno loft will probably not be in effect for this night. im assuming they'll open it to the terrace like they have in the past for pvd. or has something been announced for the loft for that date already??

No dates for the loft yet from what I heard.

PvD on the terrace @ nite > PvD on the terrace afterhours.

trance on the terrace @ nite = good
I don't get the fear of trance on the terrace, as long as it's not afterhours whoooo cares...nice clean air to breath and just more comfy all around!

lets hope he kills it since it's out of the main room redundancy.

Yeah your right this isn't so bad after all this could turn out pretty sick!

first things first, no matter the setting, pvd actually has to drop a decent set. but no amount of speculation is going to help us out. so lets just keep our fingers crossed.

Posted by Freek096 on Sep-25-2009 13:15:

I actually like this being in the terrace. Good change of pace, I was getting tired of the main room especially after they changed things around down there a few years ago. Well hopefully there's good weather and he plays a great set and think everything else will take care of itself. The countdown is on!

agreed! also agree with fallingmoon on the "just more comfy all around"
.

the weather, even if its freezing, will be great because when we get packed in there like sardines it will feel "normal".

also most of PVD's latest sets having been really good (ie high nrg and minimal to no PVD's version of house tunes lol)

Posted by Rose on Sep-25-2009 19:18:

What the fuck? I thought this was going to be in the mainroom. Well, I've never been in the terrace so we'll see how that goes lol.

you really think its going to be that packed? last couple times hes been here it really hasnt been a can of sardines like it used to be years ago.

and what recent pvd sets are you talking about? the last one i heard was nature one and that was almost 2 months ago.

even if its mildly packed that should take care of the cold weather, unless its REALLY bad.

well his ultra and trance energy sets were great(except for the guys talking over them). i realize that they are a bit old but i dont think he will change much from then til nov (crosses fingers)

even nature one 2009 is pretty good although some of the tracks were a bit boring

Posted by FallingMoon on Sep-25-2009 23:19:

PvD @ Trance Energy 2009 is actually quite good, he tore it up.

I reeeeeaaaallllyyyyy hope he plays good because I'm actually looking forward to this. Ant & I wanna have a little club fun since Markus never happpened

Awesome news get that cheesy commercial crowd to Mansion for Guetta. Also heard from Space that they are bringing special setup for PVD via conference status like tv screens on the terrace in and around the hut.

LOL where do they come up with these track names?

This mix was aight...I don't like that chill/lounge music, so the first hour was kinda torture for me...Second hour was pretty good. I've heard better sets from PVD tho...I expect better than this in Nov. from him

Posted by av1 on Sep-29-2009 23:53:

Second hour of E-mix was okay. But PVD needs to bring a lot more energy than that & bang it out @ Space to make up for last time

Posted by thecreator on Sep-30-2009 03:09:

So has anyone gotten tickets yet? Defiantly going to try and make this show for it will bang 100% better than it would in Tampa.
