I also use to have these flying dreams where i would be hovering just above the ground, and i was like semi-awake when this occurred and I use to get the most bizarre feeling across my chest when this happened. I was so aware of this happening and if i wanted to continue with it more, it would freak me out, and I would chicken out of it.

holy shit I wish that happened to me

yeah its weird, i mean what really separates one person from experiencing something over another. of course lots of factors, but to a greater extent were equal to the most part.

doesnt happen anymore though the odd weird dream here and ther but thats it really. did you work out what your dreams meant?

generally speaking i think that most of us are able to interpret the meaning of them within the first few minutes or within 24 hours.

and i think that some times the meaning it not necessarily important but that the change occurred during the dream shifts your internal nature either through direct or indirect conscious/unconscious activity minus you being aware of it or not.

I have these type of dreams ALL the time:

Flying

Breathing underwater

Getting thrown across the country by a tornado and hitting the ground and walking away fine (lol)

Terrorist attack, and I single handedly save the country

i have a lot of dreams where my teeth are crumbling in my mouth... it fucking sucks.

I don't know if anyone touched on this one yet. In one of my classes few years ago I remember the professor talking about dreams and funny enough he talked about the crumbling teeth dream. It was mainly that the dream represented insecurity or insecurity in the projection of oneself. The teeth are normally seen in the beginning of a conversation so your teeth project appearance among many other things. It's weird but that was his definition of the dream.

edit- lucid dreaming is pretty crazy. Has anyone ever had? You know your in a dream but able to stay in it and manipulate it. Apparently you can create your own dreams if you get good at it. One of my boys swears he does it every night. But he does like a good trip now n then haha.

i had a mate who use to tell me that he use to be able to see him self laying in his bed outside his body, he use to smoke weed to help induce his mind state, but he told that it got to a point where he reckons he was having trouble getting out of his dream - lucid state.

used to be able to do that. Never lasted though: everytime I became "aware" I got too excited and woke seconds after my dream-self was imploring "don't wake up! don't wake up!"

yeah its like that, how bloody weird is it". and, i think that for some reason it occurs when your younger, as you get older it seems to lessen which is even stranger.

then i saw the earth from a distance in space and knew it was in "Northern-Contractual Period 3"

whatever that means.

Edit: We were doing it on the sidewalk of a street.
