trying what? He's been dogshit terrible since 2004. His productions were always pretty similar but he had the ability to do the odd good one and throw down an energetic set. Since he slowed down he became just another boring DJ and whatever people think of ATB, there are no reasons why he shouldn't man the fuck up and let andre play first. Does he think he's guetta? Didn't justify what he did to be right, just that PvD is still a bit better than ATB.

Do you guys honestly give a fuck 'who's better'? Jesus Christ, that's completely irrelevant in this situation. It seems like PvD was a total fuckwit without a good reason. Whether Paul is any better than Andre has nothing to do with him refusing to let Andre play. I'm not seeing any good reasons from Paul at all which just makes him look like even more of a cocksucker.

If there's not some part to this story ATB isn't telling then Paul is just making a huge ass out of himself. He surely had much worse DJs open for him in all those years, so it's gotta be a personal grudge against Andre for whatever retarded reason.

ATB refuses to play Planetlove

It is with regret that I have to pen one of the worst unprofessional incidents we have encountered in almost 25 years of booking artists.

At 7pm on Saturday evening we respectfully asked ATB to help us with the smooth running of the show by playing his set at the festival from approximately 9pm to 11pm instead of his requested time of 10pm to 12midnight and he point blankly refused.

Instead he arrived at the site and chose to verbally abuse and threaten Judith, so much so that he had to be asked to calm down by his manager and security called as Judith feared that things would escalate further.

The facts are very simple. ATB chose not to play at all to the same crowd, in the same arena for the same two hour set rather than play one hour earlier!

I ask any rational person to try and relate to this.

He was paid in full, in advance, as where his flights and transport. He was treated with courtesy and respect but rather than play one hour earlier than he wanted to he hurled abuse, issued threats, wouldn�t play the new time and proceeded to blame PVD and was so convinced from the outset that it was PVD's doing that he even tried to coerce Judith into writing down that it was PVD�s fault. Paul Van Dyk did not even arrive at the venue until 11:45pm.

Never before has an artist refused to help with the smooth running of our shows and try and dictate what they should do. At the end of the day this show was about all artists and the people who went to enjoy them, not about one individual.

My thanks to the other artists, in particular Judge Jules, who did adapt to the time changes which facilitated the production crews the time to change over the defective generator during his set which was causing the problem in the first place. It is my belief that because of Jules help in the set time before 12 midnight that the change over was done in such a professional manner that I believe the crowd were not even aware that there was a problem. So simple when people work together.

Production needed to perform a double generator change over due to a faulty unit which would eventually knock out the LEDs if not corrected. They spoke with Judge Jules and asked for his help to allow them to do this without causing any prolonged breaks in the show and upseting the crowd. Jules kindly agreed to help in whatever way he could. As ATB was playing for two hours and Jules just over one hour this was the only time it could be done and needed to be done before the final set which was PVD's. The timing of this and what Jules would do to entertain the crowd whilst the two change overs took place was planned in advance, it would not have affected either ATB or PVD and all ATB had to do was just play one little hour earlier. I'm sorry if you are one of his fans but I can not for the life of me understand why anyone would refuse to play at all rather than play one hour earlier.

who is Judith?

anyways, all this is just embarrasing, and if the above post is true then ATB must have some serious problems if he is lying on his myspace page.. wtf!

i have little respect for pvd too, he used to be all that, but now he is just nothing more than a popular name for me:S
