Beautiful track.

Can I have that remix pack as well?

[Full downloadable version of the track would be great as well, if you don't mind.]

Wow! That's an awesome track! I agree about the drums part. But otherwise, man! MAD PROPS. It reminds of the old Enigma.

I'll take you on your offer! It's an awesome tune. You should make a full CD with tracks like this. They're easy to listen to at work! lol

Do you want to remix it or just have the track on it's own? I've still got the pack, so it's no problem sending it over (The original comes with the remix pack anyway )

I was thinking of making an album with these sort of tracks, as I have quite a lot of them. Either way, they will be free for anybody who wishes to have them

Posted by DjWoody on Sep-23-2009 21:22:

Both would be cool. It will take me a while to do a remix though.

Posted by DjWoody on Sep-23-2009 21:24:

If you don't mind me asking, what did you used to make it?

Sylenth, Z3ta+ and Twin2. I've only been using softsynths for this type of work, but when I switch back to Ableton my Virus TI will start to play it's part - I've had it for over a year, but still haven't used it in any of my tracks

Just would like to add that this is a really good track , nice and soothing.

Posted by Owsey on Sep-23-2009 21:46:

Thanks a million, Adi. Glad you think it's soothing

Wouldn't mind a shot at remixing this.

this is really good Owsey.

some things you might want to consider. you built something soft, warm, and melancholic in the beginning, and built a lot of rapport with that. i.e. there was a mindstate the listener likely went into and enjoyed being in prior to the beat dropping in. But the way you introduced the drums, and the overall drum sounds and programming changed things a bit drastically. It felt like jumping into cold water after the jacuzzi, some like it most might not. This piece might be best with no drums or with very minimal drums to glitchy nuances here and there, or very distantly spaced drums. Otherwise very thoughtful, I pictured all kinds of stuff listening to it, nice job.

Once finished you should submit this to people who place things for commercial, indie film, documentary type stuff.

Thanks a million, Kismet! When I was making this track I never thought much about the drums coming in too suddenly and being rather abrupt, but looking back I realize how much better it would've been if I'd "softened" them down. I'm going to rid the kick drum completely and a few more heavy parts.

I like your suggestion, but I wouldn't have a clue where to begin in that case It would be great to let a wider audience listen to my music.
