Wow , fuck man.. i must say.. I wasn't too sure on what Cressida would be playing.. I've had my hear to his productions since '05 and always liked what i hear, but actually have never heard one of his sets. Anyway that guy played non stop party bombers all through out his set... maybe one of my favorite dj to hit Circus so far...
I want to know whos mix of Cafe del Mar that was. The Spencer and Hill remix of "For and Angel" rocked the house !! Anyway great time last night!!!

CRESSIDA tore it up!!! I am so beat! Either the music is just getting better & better or I can't hang anymore. 
Having the Fetishness around just makes things a bit more interesting and I noticed they too like the music in the main room.
I was not expecting that kind of set from Cressida. I was looking for more of a prog set but wow. He really tore it up.

So I went to Circus with a great deal of optimism, since I know Cressida has mastered some great productions. A great producer is not always a great DJ though, so I wasn't really sure what to expect. I have to say that Matthias completely blew away my already high expectations and delivered a phenomenal set that I would have to say is in the top 5 sets I have ever heard at Circus!!!!
Just a tease of �6am� to open the set, which started around 12:30am, and then the music really took off...I'm talking Prog Trance, driving Techno beats, beautiful vocal Trance anthems remixed by the best of the best DJ's and producers, I loved every minute of his set!
Only left the dance floor twice for a quick trip to the restroom and off to the bar for �TA shots� with Lowski...thanks, man!

I remember looking back when Cressida came on and thinking �where did all these people come from?� The music was like a powerful magnet that drew everyone over to the main floor and it was packed until his set ended! A lot of TA's on the floor too, I kept looking at the others in disbelief, like �is it really this good?� and got nods back with big smiles, hands in the air.
It all went so fast, I would love to see Cressida again in SF if I didn't have to work the next day! I'm sure that we'll be seeing Matthias soon again, it would be great if he started up a residency at Circus!
The opening DJ, Mondo (?) threw down some awesome tracks also, the closing DJ went progressively harder and the sound got much louder, so chilled outside for awhile with friends at the end. Overall, was such a fun night and I'm so glad I went yet again (oy, it's been many, many weeks out in a row now)...see everyone next week for Aly & Fila!
Not sure I can get the vids up tonight as I have to be up very early tomorrow

Cressida in action!
Sorry about the Hotel, I will have the manager write an apologie letter to you. It was prepaid already on Sept 3rd. I spent 15 min arguing with them. So I am personally going to see the general manager tomorrow. I hope you had a great flight home. I would love to bring you back for a three hour set next year..

DJ Mando did a great job in opening for Cressida. I've been knowing this guy for about 15 yrs now and the funny thing is I don't recall seeing him play before. Well he sure surprised me last night. Mando & Cressida did me in! 
These Saturdays are beginning to get a bit rough for me lately.

I like the DJ booth where Cressida was...there's something about facing the main bar and entrance where everyone comes in that just makes the night more perfect for me. I feel like I should be dancing backwards or something when the DJ is on the other side...lol
The huge main room setup is awesome, just got to be a bit of a clusterf*ck right in front of the huge VIP area since there were some tables there also and everyone wanted to be up front center, of course! Maybe move the VIP back a bit and take out one of the tables up front and I think it would be easier to dance and move around.
My post comes out late, but I wished also to say that I spent a damn fuc#### night at Circus. Cressida, AWESOME job with excellent tracks, no empty moments, always good vibes.
Thanks for sharing the joy you have mixing, it communicates well to the crowd!
I would, without any doubt say that it was the best set I heard at Circus so far. Keep up the good job! Sehr gut Arbeit Es war unmoglich! Ich wunshe Sie viel Gluck und die Besten fur dein Zukunft
