It's not what goes on inside his head, his full body and attitude depicts him best imo. It's not a matter of thoughts. I believe he will be better when he stops to think he's a genius and be a fucking one more regularly instead of being a Brit fag that make lazy tracks or sets.

Tobar blog is again online and check out his chart at beatport

I listened through the Nathan Fake Hard Islands release last night. The more I listen the less I like that one. BC needs something really strong to turn it around. Seems like the new MFA's only big winner is going to be the Luke Abbott rmx

I wonder why they don't release stuff like this...

Ricardo has an album coming out at the end of this year or beginning of next if I remember correctly so I'm sure whatever he's playing will be released soon enough.

James ended with this song of Ricardo's at King King when I saw him. Also to be on said album when it's released. Beautiful track and I thought it ended the night perfectly not to mention everyone danced their ass off to it.

I emailed that video to Tobar and asked him about the track, he siad it was mainly composed of loops and samples on his laptop and he doesn't have plans on releasing it. It doesn't have a name either.

Luke Abbott Remix is the only decent mix I have to agree, but Hard Islands is good... well Turtle and Basic Mountain are... 2 out 6 tracks The rest of the album was pretty forgetable.

What about Narrier...sounds like something out of Alice & Wonderland.

sick video at first i only liked half the tracks off HI but now the rest have grown on me. fentiger was really intense and spiritual for me live at electric zoo.

very cool vid, thanks for sharing

Posted by Dj_Es-Dva on Sep-22-2009 12:03:

I don't recall which one Narrier was, but one in the latter half in particular had really annoying pitch/out of key effects - I usually like that stuff Fake does.

The video of Nathan Fake showing how he made The Turtle is really cool though Finger snaps & Salt Shakers ftw.
