When did I say that? Anyway, from the responses I'm getting it seems she was kind of right. Tea is dinner and around 7 means after 7. She wasn't way off, just the fact that she gave specific foods was odd.

She's not a very smart teacher anyway, it seems half the time she's more concerned with her dog than about actually teaching.

Reckon I'm gonna have me some shags for tea tonight.

That's actually not that common here, we tend to use tits or boobs too. My girlfriend and I have a joke going about that because a co-worker of hers was at a swanky work party in England, whereby she was introduced to a terribly upper-crust English socialite gentleman.

She said 'Hi, I'm from Australia,', to which the drunken socialite replied (imagine the most clipped accent you can) 'Oh yes, I know ALL ABOUT you Australian women. You like to piss on the floor and get your baps out.' and then wandered back off into the crowd.

It is indeed an awesome word.
