POO GAS!

and cosgrove feeling "urpy"

also:

one of the best episodes of animaniacs
i went on a jerry lewis impression bender for weeks after seeing this

Yes, poo gas!!! And, lest we forget, there's also the Handman!!!

I loved it when they mixed everything up:

And here's some more recent goodness:

Harvey Birdman, attoney at law! It's one of the few cartoons not related to Steven Spielberg in any way that I enjoy

Seth MacFarlane is a pompous asshole, and his shows are all terrible.

Season 1-3 of family guy are okay in my book, but yes, he is a pompous asshole with shitty shows.

Disregarding the first three season of Family Guy, of course. Everything after that is... well... it's just not.

Where do you get the impression he's pompous?

You've not seen too many interviews or heard him talk for more than five minutes, have you? He comes off as though he's God's gift to television and comedy.

Yep, as terrible as the latest Family Guy episode to be honest. Really went downhill lately....

Posted by stvy on Nov-11-2009 04:53:

why did the cleveland show switch to after family guy? probably figured they'd get more ratings from people who fell asleep during family guy and left the tv on?...pretty sure i've watched everyone so far and it just seems boring.

He's got that cheesy smile, I agree, and the sound of his voice alone could easily get him accused of pompousness, but the guy is very very intelligent, and hugely successful. I think he just plays the role that he thinks people want to see, and it's worked out for him.

I do slightly cringe to think what a guy with a mind like that and the money he has does for kicks though.

This season has been great imo. The multiverse ep, and this last week's (the first of the two) were amazing.
