Call me mad but after the one above is finished (prob end this year), next project is either:-

1.) 4wd Mk1 Golf with 2 1.8 Turbo engines, one in rear, one in front, tuned to about 400bhp.
2.) Skyline GTR tuned to about 600bhp.
3.) MY99 Scooby tuned up to around 4-600bhp.

Decisions, decisions.

Only trouble is I don't have anywhere to store another car, and it's defo not going on the street.

Wanna see a 874 hp Supra being tested for power?

Download the 3 mb video here

it's strapped to the floor and still has enough power to almost cut itself loose!

can you tell me how you have planned to get 600 bhp out of a subaru

but some wicked ideas.. you english peeps are allowed to do waaaaaaay much more than us here in holland

btw: the golf mk2 has too small wheels IMHO, and why only 180 bhp... if you start with a mk3 vr6 you START with 194 bhp and have plenty of room to modify it

...LOL, you can stock one of the cars @ my house

Although I do not have one, nor have i driven one, the Ferrari 456 is shit.

The 550 and 575 MAranello outperforms it in every way and also undercuts it in price by 20,000. It depreciates like a monster as well, so if anyone buys one new, good luck! The only good thing is the shape.

For 170,000 I'd much rather have the Murcielago!

There's a guy in Australia who's done this, I fancy having a go, ship it to Jun tuners in Japan, get them to play with it. There's a site with the most amazing videos on. E-mail me and I'll find the li8nk for you.

As for the wheels, haven't you ever head of the EURO look, they're 8x15" wheels, v.wide, and about 400 a corner. As for the VR6 couple of things

1. It's a 6 cylinder and weighs more, so your power to weight ratio goes down, I'm using a 4pot.
2. The VR6 in a mk2 absolutely screws up the handling, trust me I tried some.
3. 180bhp is at the wheels, you're quoting flywheel figures, and the standard VR6 only puts out 170bhp if that. Even with a s/charger you're only at 250bhp at the flywheel, and my flywheel figure is 220-230bhp (estimated), on an engine that weighs a third less.
4. It's a lot cheaper to do the VR6 conversion, it takes time and money to produce a true enhancement of the Mk2, anyone can chuck a big engine in a car and make it go fast in a straight line, but try taking it round a track, different kettle of fish entirely.

Just my 2p's.
Oh and yes we can modify cars at lot more in the UK than some of you guys, I've "only" just turned 25 and have got my insurance down to 900 now for this beauty.

FreeFall how do u put 2 engines in one car and get them to work with each other???

You need two gearboxes, two clutches and you need to effectively have two front halves of the car. The hardest part is getting the clutch and throttle cables to operate in tandem.

Although a twin engine car will be 4 wheel drive, it doesn't have a prop shaft like a regular 4x4 car. The front engine drives the front wheel and the back engine drives the back wheels. As long as both engines are of equal power and the gearing is the same it should work. You also need to take into account positioning of the radiator and intercooler (if applicable) for the rear engine. Most twin eng cars have side or roof vents for this.

A twin engined Renault 5 GTT turbo built not far from where I live has a faster 0-60 and runs the quarter mile quicker than a Lamborghini Diablo. It's got two turbo'd 1.4s, so about half the engine capacity of the Diablo.

Nice Corsa mate , im getting a Saxo VTR in 3 months when my insurance drops by half , its a 1.6i so its a flying machine , 100BHp standard then the air induction kit and K & N Airfilter and the superchip, which is gonna make the car 130Bhp which is very fast for a hatch back, for 2000 i could get it to 185Bhp by adding a new manifold to the engine, but it all gets expesive, i like that golf with the tv's init . sweet.

Nautica, u live newhere near Twickenham, and wanna give me a lift in your sweet car?
I want to do up my Seat Ibiza (excluding engine Mods) cos theres this wicked insurance company that doens't take into account aesthetic mods, ie bodykit, alloys, exhaust! His 318 BMW with bodykit, 17" TSW's, suspension, Twin DTM exhaust was insured for 650!!!!! And they only added on 50 for his 2000 ICE system!

Unfortunately, the imaginatio is wider than the wallet, so u won't be seeing any pics soon! In fact, give us pics of this twin engined Renault 5!

Sorry, I live the other end of the country! That car's not mine. It's a mate's 1.1 that has been fully converted to RS Turbo spec. Mine's a genuine RS Turbo, and although not as mad on the interior (check www.fiestaturbo.com for more pics of that one!) it does have more than a few tasty tweaks, 18"s, coilovers and fappin huge brakes.

Recaro bucket seats
bomex lips and skirts
paint it midnight blue
and add some skyline emblems on it
and i'm set

The paint job on that car is sweet. Ive seen a limo in town have a paint job like that.

Im kinda a car newbie, but how do you make a car travel comfortably to higher speeds. Once i reach 120, my car engine gets loud and gets a little shaky. Does this have to do with horsepower? How do you increase horsepower either than getting an intercooler?
