One of the best times I've had clubbing in NYC! Blk Market did a sick job with this party.

Cheers for the video. The massive CD wallet belies the "vinyl only" story I saw on twitter.

Originally posted by EnigmaT I agree with John on this one. It took a very long time for Sasha to come on, leaving us with 4 hours of some really boring minimal tech. (Sorry to those who were spinning but you were opening for Sasha and not James Holden} But Sasha did deliver with the the exception of his first hour. The rest of the night was a total deep dark underground journey with about zero tracks I can put a name too. I didn't hear any of this new tracks get played and that's not a bad thing. The venue was awesome. The sound was decent, the lighting sucked, they turned on a surprise laser at about 5am (why wait all night, idk?). It never felt too crowded.

Great set by Sasha. He got into a groove with great programming and as always great mixing. I don't recall seeing vinyl, but saw CD's and him on his Mac to the side. Nice venue and great crowd. Lots of cool people at the show.
Christina saw a Mac, but wasn't sure who was using it...I wasn't really paying attention. Thought the music was good, but not amazing (seen Sasha far better).
The surprise lasers were really cool
Great venue
I just woke up... what a f*cking party!
I got there very early (1 am) thinking it was going to be a clusterf*ck. As we go by the venue, the cops were all along the block (this is what posting the address on a public forum does).
Walked right in and went through the line pretty fast, there were a lot of people already there. T+F played first, Sasha got on for a bit and it pissed me off how everyone was just standing staring at him! I never really understood this, if you go to a party, dance, that's why you're there after all. I don't really remember much after this point, I think Three got on after an hour and went nuts and then Sasha came back on? Then I remember seeing Sasha and Three playing together for a while. People started leaving like at around 5 and then's when it got really good, the music was ridiculous until I left @ 10 am, Chris was still playing and there were still a lot of people dancing their asses off.
Party of the Year! Erica: dumbass maneuver to leave so early, at least you should've come back, it cleared out an hour after you left and the ventilation system kicked in, it wasn't as smoky after that. Whoever missed this party should regret it, it was a really treat to hear Sasha play in this setting, I hope it happens again. I know a lot of people are going to talk about this one for a while and went down on the books as the best night of the year.
Thank you Taimur, Fahad and your whole team, I know you guys were very stressed out about putting this together, but you really came through, from the venue to the sound to the lights and lasers, you managed to blow me away. Keep it coming, I expect a great party next week with Konrad Black
I spotted deadmau5 behind the decks, was i the only one

Originally posted by DJ Dingel It's 2009 and they're booking Sasha. This isn't an illegal, secret location party. It's a "location TBA" event.

Originally posted by Chaska Have no idea of the legality, but the cops were obviously being dicks yesterday trying to bust someone, they were really looking to f*ck somebody over. I was sitting in StarSoprano's car with a few ppl just getting ready to get out of the car and the cops pulled up to us shining their flashlights in our faces and looking around the car, asking us over and over again if we were drinking. Needless to say, I nearly shit my pants, they came out of nowhere!
BTW, very nice to meet you d_verge, pyro, and any others I might be forgetting, I don't remember much from last night
