what guestlist feature?

when i post events from now on, i take it i must click on the mtl event listings link and then create a new thread from within that link?

yes and you'll see the guest list feature when creating event

when going back to the event thread you'll see a "view your guest list" button.

We have to use the Event section more, all the new event threads created since the change have like 0 replies... It's a good idea only if it's being used!

check out the total number of views too, that's important. The TO one has some goose eggs on there too but you can't deny that it's pretty damn useful.

I'm starting to think that maybe I should make Montreal the way Florida and California are right now -- with the event threads mixed in with the normal threads.

You can turn it on/off whenever you want (and it saves your preferences) - link is at the top right in each forum

Most event threads never had any replies either, they got buried after 2-3 pages of random threads... come the weekend you didn't know what was happening in town. Don't expect dozens of posts for all event threads, it just never happened before.
