I'm not here nearly enough to peruse online forum identities, but from the occasional pop in that i do, I can already peg the bitch and moaner quite obvious to say the least... |
Solution - background check.... or cavity check. Whatever suits them best

So here's what I heard...
my boys claim that the person(s) who are blowing up these 'secret' parties are the promoters and owners of the clubs in NY because they're pissed that they're losing business every weekend. What do you think of that?
Cause let's be honest here. Anyone can find out about these parties. All you have to do is go onto RA or TA or whatever you want and find the RSVP email and then boom boom boom. Anyone could do it. Sure putting location in a thread makes it easier but big fucking deal.
and like my friend blake said, if you drive through that area in BK and see a line of people and hear pounding base then bam, you know something is up. So whatev...
people need to chill. lol.
but yeah, my sources say that the reason that police may be interested is because clubs contacted them over loss of business.
thoughts? opinions?

| Originally posted by Blake I hear the same thing happened w/minitek. Specifically that the people who ran Electric Zoo this year purposely fucked w/minitek last year, calling the authorities complaining/providing location info etc throughout the festival. Not sure what the real deal is but seeing as how it's not the first time I've heard of something like this happening I guess it can't be ruled out. Seems like people who run parties would be the last one's you'd think to call the cops on other parties. Jeez.. |
And what clubs would do this? Not like the people that go to these parties would be filling up Pacha if they didn't exist. Sounds like a tin foil hat theory to me.

| Originally posted by DJ Eco Gotta disagree here... I don't know if it's still like this, but when I was working doing behind the scenes club office stuff (when I first started out), clubs calling violations and the police on other clubs was a widespread thing. You'd be surprised what club-owners do to keep their venue alive week after week. |

I mean look, you dont sell 800+ tickets to a venue that is legal cap of 2-220, across the street from Penn Station. You're begging to be messed with by NYPD when there is a spill over in the streets. A phone call had been made and everything was shut, and moved to Rebel, but by that time, all chaos had broken loose and people thought everything was over.
THat combined with the Coney Island fiasco, with the sound, and the bars, and etc etc...Minitek was doomed from the beginning.
the culprit was another well-known guy...lol
