Most everything else they did was kind of ehhh, but Disintegration just happened to be one of the most perfect albums of the 1980s. I don't think there's a single misstep.

I completely agree. I can barely even listen through any other Cure album, but I've probably played Disintegration from beginning to end 100 times. The last four tracks are just incredible in sequence.

Definitely my second favorite, but still not in the same league to me.

Don't get me wrong, I love some of the singles off other albums, but nothing approaches the whole package of Disintegration. Close to Me might be my favorite track though.
