People are easily whipped into a frenzy when it comes to Apple products.

i can't send text messages with my fingers because they are too big.

i should have got a blackberry, but the data plan that my gf's employer offered (we decided to both use it) is just a lot better with the iphone.

he can turn off the word spelling/sentence finishing mode and type manually. That's what I do. Screen is a bit sensitive but to me that's just splitting hairs. the iphone is money.

yea i think he did eventually but he still presses the wrong buttons on accident i think because it's so sensitive.

i'm just not a big phone person. i wouldn't even put an iphone to good use if i had one...would be a waste. i just need to make calls and texts and take pics once in a while and that's all i care about.

it sort of ticks me off when people get iphones, and they don't really do anything iphoney with them. a friend got one a few months ago and the only app he has for it is a trial version of some game. there are lots of cool things for the device, especially if you jailbreak it

blackra1n doesn't install SSH by default so no worries.

There is a nice new virus out now for jailbreaked iPhones, I recommend it!

I can respect that... I was a conventional phone guy until a couple months ago when I couldn't afford to be without internet access while on the road so much for work related situations.

yeah.

i totally want to switch though as the iphone is very over rated...our plan is half of the cost though. Vive Cirque Du Soleil and fake tits!

yea i'm pretty sure once i'm working full time in real estate next year, i'll be the type who needs a fancy phone and will have it glued to my ear 24-7. but for now i keep it simple and generally hate cell phones and never care where mine is lol

i've even left the house without it and realized i didn't have it and i wasn't even out of my complex yet but was still like, "ah fuck it no one calls me anyway" and left without it for a few hours.

Both viruses rely on SSH being installed. Something that hasn't been necessary for a long while now.

true story, though some applications do need ssh so do bear it in mind

Posted by nix0807 on Nov-24-2009 23:36:

Some cool apps suggested above.

I don't have a iphone, but ipod touch. Mostly for the apps and music. I wanted to keep my cell phone.

Fun so far. Haven't had time to 'play' with the apps, but it's cool. A nicer mp3 player ;-)

Other than those mentioned already

Monopoly is really good for $5. Passed some dull flights off with that.
Flight Control - good for a simple, easy game to kill a few minutes
Pocket Alan - AHA!

My Dad is almost obsessed with Apps. I'll have to ask him.

Posted by Fledz on Nov-25-2009 02:23:

"Flight Control" that's it. Meh, "Airport" was a close enough guess
