1. One time getting on the highway some BMW cut me off right before we were turning on to the on ramp. So we raced and I got him blocked him in for about 30 seconds in the right lane with a car in front of him.

2. On a two highway some bitch had to do that weave out of lane BS so for whatever it took I was in front of her and if a car was in the right lane I would slow down so she could not pass. I did this for about 30 miles.

I typcial drive fast to avoid everyone(65mph-100mph)Depends on how I feel. Right lane, left lane, middle lane don't matter. Only if I see a cop then I will slow down. If you can keep up with me then I don't care if you pass me or not. I don't tailgate, I just wait for them to give me room to pass unless they give me a reason to tailgate by maintaining the same speed to annoy me.

never got out of the car yet or someone on me

At that point, I did what I always do when people are obviously angry at me on the road. I put on my silliest smile and gave him a very emphatic wave to show that I was extremely pleased with how angry I'd made him. This caused him to put his car into park and motion to open the door. However, with the lights changing he thought the better of it and drove off.

Does anyone else feel that road rage perpetrators are often incensed because they've driven like an arsehole and forced you to wrong them? That's usually my experience, but then again if I see someone tailgating me or otherwise driving in an intimidating way, I'll usually go out of my way to drive slowly in front of them, cut them off and generally prevent them from doing what they want. If I lived in America I'd probably be too scared of getting shot to bother with this.

I'm the same, actually. I can't understand why the hell some people get so riled up when they're behind a wheel but, is it entertaining to watch them go nuts for the stupidest of all reasons! There are some things I could never really understand, though, and here are my top 3:

If someone gets pissed at me, i usually laugh until they give me the middle finger. lol

Posted by david.michael on Nov-25-2009 15:08:

I get angry, but I don't usually react. Unless someone cuts me off and goes incredibly slowly for no reason, I'll give them the "angry tailgate" for a while.

My favorite thing to do is to come up behind someone who has had their turn signal on for miles. I like to get in front of them and turn my signal on. I get subtle satisfaction out of knowing that they think I'm an idiot, and then hit that moment of realization that I'm making fun of them because theirs is on.

speed variance kills!

Classic! I'm gonna be doing this from now on.

I therefore had three options: crash into the roadworks barrier, slam on my brakes or speed up and cut in front of him. Of course, I chose to cut in front, seeing as my nose was already in front and I had indicated correctly. Besides, the law specifies that in these situations 'the zipper effect' should be used, making my action justified.

Actually, the correct way to merge into another lane is to slow down and move in behind the other vehicle. The other vehicle is to maintain the speed they are going.

The other driver had every right to be upset at you...you should have your licence taken away since you obviously don't know how to drive.

I had a random guy come to my window and smack my face once. I didn't even know what I had done to provoke it! Douche.

I don't even react to idiotic behaviour on the road. This one guy tried to turn across my lane into his driveway once, causing me to slam on the brakes, and I guess the sound of the screeching tyres alerted him to the fact that I was there. We had about 5 seconds where I just stared at him in bewilderment and he gave me this sheepish look before he went into his driveway and I started moving again.

My ex used to yell and scream every time she went into a roundabout and someone left it without indicating. I found it really funny that she had no patience.

It is actually fun to abuse the twats that road rage while driving a mini van with their whole family in the back. I mean they surely deserve the abuse

Actually no, not in this country, but nice try. We employ the zipper effect, meaning whoever has their nose in front has the right to be in front. In effect this usually means one car from left lane, one car from right lane, alternating back and forth, hence the term 'zipper'.

I am a very nice driver for the most part. I always maintain a speed that is consistent with the flow of traffic, I could not give less of a flying fuck if someone wants to pass me, and I very frequently let people ahead of me when two lanes merge.

The only thing that drives me INSANE is indecisive drivers; they linger in both lanes, they take 10 seconds to react when the light turns green, they hesitate at every left turn if an approaching vehicle is so much as 150 metres away.

One time I was parked at the bank and about to back out of my spot, when a car pulled up right behind mine and moved forward, then backward, then the broad in it started trying to reverse park, then decided she had better find another spot. This took something like 5 minutes. Then her cell phone rang and she picked up and started chatting while still almost perpendicular to my car. I got out and threw my arms up Constanza style and roared "LADY WHAT THE *FUCK* ARE YOU DOING?!"

When I went back to Ontario this summer, I rented a car to get around. So I had my mom (who has cancer and is quite delicate) and my 87 year old grandmother in the car with me since I was taking them to dinner.

I am in the left lane waiting at a stop light. The fools turning left on their advanced green on the other side end up getting stuck in the middle of the intersection because there were too many cars, thus blocking the right lane beside me from moving forward.

So the light turns green, and I start to move ahead when out of nowhere this fucking moron in the right lane decides that if she can't go straight because the cars are blocking her, she should suddenly just swerve almost right into me. She literally missed my car by an inch.

I slammed on the breaks, honked and yelled "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!" but quickly realized that my granny and mom were sitting there with me. Had my mom and granny not been in the car, I was so angry I am pretty sure I would have followed her and given her an earful. However, I think having my granny and mom in the car was what made me so angry... that some asshole was endangering my family.
Not to mention, if she had hit me, my already high insurance rate would have skyrocketed, and I would have had to pay the stupid rental co. I am way too poor for that (lol).

Biggest pet peeves:

People who don't fucking signal. I think you should have your license taken away if you can't figure out how to push the little lever to indicate where you are going.

There have been so many times where unexpectedly someone comes flying into my lane and I have to slam on the breaks, or I wont turn left because the oncoming retard isn't signaling that they are turning right. Or when I am going into the middle lane and someone on the other side decides to come in without signaling from the other far lane and almost hitting me. Or the retards who look pissed off at me for not letting them in when they didn't fucking signal and then shoved their way in all of a sudden.

It seriously takes NO FUCKING EFFORT to signal!! If you can't do it, then you probably are too inept to drive.

I get passenger rage about this too... haha! I have snarkily said to some of my friends driving who are bitching about not being 'let in' that maybe it would help if they signaled because obviously their telepathy isn't working.

The people who weave in and out of traffic also piss me off, or change lanes for no reason. Like, when the cars are backed up for ages and no one can move, do you really think this is the time to fucking change lanes?!? The other lanes are not moving any faster retard, and your changing lanes is only slowing things down even more.

I haven't ever witnessed serious road rage, but I can understand why some people get so pissed off. Stupid ass driving puts other peoples lives on the line, and if my life is threatened because of someones ignorance, it gets me really angry. I don't think I would get into a physical altercation over it though.

canadian driving made me lol. I've never seen such a random system that actually seems to work. It's all over the place yet just about gets by.

I thought Canadian drivers were pretty polite. Maybe it's because we were driving a truck camper so everybody could see we were tourists, but still, it was a breeze compared to some of the fuckwits over here.

generally they are, but it's how they manage to do so whilst interchanging between lanes without any reason to do so, if they drove like that here (when we already have some awful drivers, we call them 'mothers') and it'd have more piles than the people on Jennys "list"
