women are better
concerning a smaller use of internet by women ( which is quickly changing ) it's due to the fact women are less stupid and tend to not want to waste as much time ....

men have a natural tendency of being "connected" to their material belongings, while many women just consider them as objects without much more importance attached.
look men love cars, comps and stupid bs
women love love, life, and simple pleasures
which is why I respect women for their belief that life is more then money....more about what you own...it's about what you do and who you want to be and well it is true I'm really cutting it short!
that's wy we can't live without women!
there's a lot of women who listen to trance, but concerning their musical tendencies, I have the belief they have the tendency of being followers ( actually like most men in general ! )

all i know is i just got home from hanging out with my friend...and we met this girl who was hot as hell...we started talking and then got into to talking about music..
this girl new EVERYTHING about the scene...i even tested her a few times...i was like ya Sandstorm was a hot track and she laughed and said "ya if you like cheese"...LOL i started laughing....she then started saying how she hated BT for messing with NSYNC...
and she said her moto is "Alot of people listen to trance but not many HEAR the music"....i was shocked....
her favorite DJs she said where Tiesto
, Ferry Corsten, George Acosta, John '00' Flemming and a bunch of really hardcore techno DJs that i never heard of....but she did say she liked Commander Tom..which was weird cus i never once met a girl who even heard of the name Commander Tom let alone liked him....i was amazed..
She knew her shit in and out...i asked her so many questions..and she got them all....i couldnt beleive what she was saying i was so HAPPY..
and she was HOT as hell....about 5'10 130 lbs long brown hair..very tall and slim...HOT HOT HOT HOT...
me and my friend got her number and shes going to come see Tiesto, Digweed and Cox with us at AREA2 in August...
i think my friend relaly wanted to get to know her more on a sexual basis..which is cool so i wont try anything sexual on her...he can...i would jus liek to have her purely as a friend...jus for the cool conversations....
on my local scenes board, all there is is girls, most of them like hardcore, but alot liek trance too so its all good and more chicks in the scene than guys is always a plus

women are dont really like trance unless its on the telly, but you will be suprised how many women like house music. I supposed the like it because they find it more sexy or something like that.

I learned in gym class, that women can't hear alot of sounds, and distinguish them, but guys can :/ and thats why guys can watch tv, and not hear the phone ring and such and the same is with trance, with the melody behind the bass/beats
i duno. thats my opinion.

Two issues I greatly disgree with on the this thread
1. Women are NOT more material then men. TO generalize (there are some exeptions but I find this to mainly be true) Guys like cars, Women like clothes. Obvioulsy this goes further than that but I think you'll get my point.
2. "trance music is hard to dance to". ARE YOU FOR REAL? I'd say Trance music is one of the easiest genres to dance to. Apart from the build-ups when you get a couple of secs rest, but thats it. This is not a personal attack, but I can't see how Trance may be hard to dance to. Unless of course you're slowdancing or grinding , but even then Im sure you can find a track that fits your style.

Why dont girls like trance? Well, i've found a few that do, but overall, I think it has to do with the way they listen to music. How often do you and your friends sing along to songs? even when you all listened to things other than trance, it wasn't a big thing for most guys I know. I know that I listen to music more for the mood it sets, rather than for the lyrics. Girls on the other hand listen to lyrics only. THe rest of the music doesn't matter to them. Thats why pop is so big with masses of screaming little teeny boppers, because the lyrics are always the main focus of the music, and give them catchy tunes that they can sing along with.
For me, trance has quite alot of emotion, based in the beautiful flowing melodies. For quite alot of girls I know, they say that there is absolutely nothign there. They claim it lacks feeling, and I think this is due to the fact that it lacks any lyrics.
In my town, there is one 24/7 techno-pop station that recently opened up. Its not horrible, definately better than most radio stations around, since they broadcast alot of live sets from various clubs, but during the day, its all crappy techno pop like Gigi D'Agastino - I'll fly away, or Sarina Paris - Look at us baby. This station has a huge following with girls who are members of the rave scene because of this, however, play something like Gouryella and they just shrug and start talking about useless things like they tend to do, although they will often enjoy dancing to it.
I dont think they particularily dislike trance, they just dont find anything (vocals) that are catchy enough to grasp on to and participate in.
You guys are sooo off. I don't listen to trance for lyrics. Personally I think lyrics ruin the effect.
I listen to trance at home.
I listen to trance at school.
I bought my boyfriend trance cd's to play in his car. (I don't drive yet_
So we young, hot, bangable female tranceaddicts are out there, you just need to look.

at least around here.
but on another note, women have strange taste and most can be afraid to be different.. and trance isnt mainstream.. so they'll continue to "rock out" to thier guitar based punk bullshit because "then punk boys are hotter"
