I have this song, but the dub version I think, because there is no vocals in it. Which made me always think why does it say, Three 6 mafia, Sean Kingston, and Flo Rida, but now that I hear the vocal version, Get the dub version, it's absolute a million times better.

...its not trance, and shouldnt be treated or rated as such or compared to trance/techno/house. Tiesto is a fucking sellout whore. I've stopped listening to his shit ever since he started talking about himself in 3rd person and made it all about a cult of his personality, having nothing to do with EDM.

True story son. I'm going off track here, not really talking about the song or tiesto specifically, but in more general terms. I think this thread is indicitive of the growing pains of EDM in the US. As the EDM genre becomes more popular in the US, artists are going to change and expand their styles to fill the growing demand. And these changes are not unique to the EDM world, they are seen in every genre of music.How many people do you know that think that Soulja Boy is a sell out?? but his stuff got a lot of air play. For every Soulja Boy, there are prob 10 Common or Talib Kweli's. The same thing will happen for EDM. I.E Oakenfold and you can argue Guetta and Tiesto

The good thing about the genre becomming more popular will be the rise in massive events. I know I wish we had the massive events with the same frequency that europe does and as the genre becomes more popular and socially acceptable, we'll see a lot more artist and events come through. As all the current stars start to fade, there will be a new crop of DJ's and producers who will rise up. This is one of the my favorite things about EDM, that there is an abundance of fresh talent and music coming out WEEKLY. There is huge potential for EDM in the US to become as massaive as it is in the rest of the world.

The track Fresh Fruit is pretty good and a couple of the vocals are decent. I have no problem with "artist albumns". Some good remixes should come out of it, kinda like Armin's Imagine CD. I don't like a lot of the songs but I don't mind a more poppy EDM tune. If it sounds good to me, it sounds good. And I'm all for going after the mainstream masses. Anything to get EDM more popular. We need to push hip hop and crappy MTV hits out of the clubs. Doesn't mean you have to listen to it or go to any of the parties.

The days of "In My Memory" are far behind him... Kaleidoscope was really dull and sounded so under-produced, and this is absolute dogshit. This is coming from a very very big Tiesto fan, I don't know wtf is going on but I hope he goes back to his late 90's, early 00's stuff...

for now I guess I'll stick with deep and tech house.

He said he was going to change his sound for a little bit in that interview cause he said everything sounds the sasme to him now, but if youve listened to club life the past month i think hes going back to trance cause thats basically all hes been playing on the show.
