generally if its hard theres a high chance that ill like it. melodic trance also works for me but this style got very overcrowded lately and too much shit is coming out under the label "melodic trance"

I mentioned before in this thread that I prefer Hard or Progressive, but I do listen to Melodic/uplifting as well - except that just as you say here there is too much Melodic crap being produced. I guess that is to be expected: As more wannabes try to produce, the music will become watered down. The same thing is happening in hip-hop/rap.

the proper trance for me is deep trance. tracks as Ecano - Run (Z2 Mix) and Origin - Refined Intricacy are just too great of tracks that aren't really well recognized progressive trance is great, more people should listen to that. house-trance?? lol thats sound's like a very commercial statement of some cheesy dj's

It was extremely hard to rank them but I'll listen to any one of these on any given day. I know I was only supposed to choose one, but damn, they're all good.
