Traditional weddings freak me out, too. I try to picture my own and it gives me the willies. I'll probably pass out on my wedding day.

Or shit the dress. I'm totally banking on you shitting the dress.

Posted by Silky Johnson on Dec-07-2009 03:02:

Yeah there's always that possibility.

I'm not a religious person, but I think wedding ceremony in a nice church is beautiful:[

Well, everything about marriage is empty, so that's understandable.

But, personally, I find them more amusing than anything else. Human beings are such silly creatures, and weddings must be among our silliest rituals.

I absolutely love weddings! Well the receptions anyway...I went to one a couple months ago and the reception hall was split into two sections and the was another reception going on next door. OPEN BAR DUDE! I fucking crashed their wedding it felt a little weird at first but it was exhilarating! It was the most fun i have ever had at a wedding. They played shout and everyone was just going crazy just like the movie. So much fun!

Weddings are awesome. They make bitches horny like whoa. It's too easy. It's like taking candy from a baby. I almost feel guilty, actually.

Almost.

Whenever I want to listen to EDM, I usually go on my own to clubs/rave parties... is there anything like a "selective social anxiety disorder"?

Envy ultimately leads to depression. Maybe you want to get married?

I've never liked weddings. It's like seeing a man cut off his penis and throw it on a highway where the same car keeps driving over it again and again. Makes me cringe.

Yeah, because when you settle for the stupid **** that agreed to fuck you twice you're suddenly a hero.

I'm engaged, it'd make no sense to be envious.

I chronically close doors only 94% of the way, so I am obviously a commitment-phobe.

You know I think I actually knew that. I'm not around as much anymore to keep me reminded. I do see quite a few I'm engaged threads...

Though, you're not married yet! Until then weddings will be miserable, and once you have your very own you'll be grooving on the dance floor while that tree gets struck by lightning.

It's a mental thing.

how can one be miserable with all that free alcohol?

Posted by colonelcrisp on Dec-07-2009 13:37:

i cant say i have ever felt empty at a wedding.... my booze-o-meter is usually past full all the time at the wedding. not sure what it is about weddings but it always puts me in massive party mode, i cant think of a single wedding i have been to in the last 10 years where i didn't have an absolute mental time. I do agree tho, if i had the choice, id probably skip the ceremony part..... setting foot inside churches (especially catholic ones) just gives me the willies...... not to mention catholic weddings last no less than an hour and a half and its a proven fact that church pews are the most uncomfortable seating ever invented and the only booze they serve is under matured shit wine and you have to take it with part of a dead religious icon. Im sorry but the sole reason i lost faith with the catholic church was because they led me to believe that jesus was made of disgusting cardboard like wafer board....... had they told me he was made of pepperoni and cheese pizza, i wouldn't have lost the faith. I only believe in delicious deitys. Flying Spaghetti monster FTW
