THIS JUST IN

This just in... for those of you still on the fence about where to spend NYE this might just be the tipping point you need. Made Event is bringing in a ringer - Starlight Visuals, the same company that handled Electric Zoo lighting & visuals will be bringing their production and stunning lighting design to Roseland Ballroom. If you were at Electric Zoo you know, this will be a once-in-a-lifetime NYE extravaganza!

earlier this year I saw PvD, didn't see him take his eyes away from his mac once, lol.

I think he played two songs that were good, For An Angel 09 and his remix of Depeche Mode - Martyr. I thought it was a pretty dull night though, wouldn't see him again.

Def not going......would much rather do something low key this year......these huge ass parties on NYE always seem to turn into a complete disaster. House party ftw but it seems like most of my friends already got plans to go to PVD.

I'd like to go, tbh. Because deep inside I believe that Paul is capable of throwing down a crazy party. The problem is, Paul refuses to let the "trancey" Paul come out and play, afraid of something. I bet. Whatever, I wished him well in his future endaviours, burned my pvd fan club card, and started focusing on so many other quality acts that are coming up the ranks.

And when I miss old Paul's sound... I put on John O'Callaghan and see that others can be a quite suitable repacement for PVD nostalgia, without all the crap.

My last 2 yrs partied at local house parties, so opted for this and VIP. Be nice to spend it with Ryan/Keith and Booze it up at the open bar.

does anybody know what the times are like? that is, will pvd come on in time for the countdown? or will jollins take us through that-- will there even be some sort of countdown?

I've yet to encounter a countown that peaked, or set off the crowd at just the right time. Sure everyone cheers when the clock strikes midnight, but it could be so much of a bigger moment.

from another thread. agreed!

To the quoted message, I guess that person wasn't at PVD@IKON 2005 when John O'Bir dropped sasha - expander that PERFECTLY matched the countdown! One of the best NYE moments in my club life.

Yeah my old roomate Brian has a video of it. He probably posted it up on you tube! Lol.

And yeah i'm givin it another go this year.. Doin it the same way I did it for Ikon. bought the GA & Standing VIP tix. We all know Paul isn't consistant any more but he is def capable of throwing a rediculous party. So i'm hopin for the best. Plus bringing in the NEw Year with so many friends is awesome! And I'm hoping for a particular classic track. Paul played it at Ikon and it was the last time I heard it live and was the highlight of my night. It was Lustral - Everytime(Nalin & Kane remix). That fookin track is rediculous!
