I'm not sure if they ever played at CIRCUS. I know they've played at other venues and their 1st time was at the Mayan.

Last time they played at Circus they pulled a decent crowd. Their sets are quite typical "fluffy" trance, and the guys themselves....well, they're very German Nice guys of course.

Eh, I wouldnt' even say most of the time it's typical fluffy trance. They tend to get into moods of waht type of music they play and go with it. I've heard very electroish sets from them, too. Electro-ish trance, and nothing epic or fluffy ab out it. I've heard prog-trance to a more driving trance from them, too.

Then on other nights, what you say is dead on. Especially the first few times I saw them.

Anyhow, I would be there this weekend but we had other plans already down in San Diego. B&J's sets might not always be stellar musically, but they always bring out the "party" in the crowd. Just a good, fun, energetic crowd. Even on their bad nights, I've left happy because of the atmosphere.

Hopefully they've cut back on playing their classics more. THey used to overdo it bigtime. Their sets can actually be quite different from one time they played vs another, but then they play so many classics it makes it all kinda feel the same.

This is exactly what I meant If they ever played electroish stuff it got lost in the fluffville. Or maybe I just missed the good stuff because I was hanging out in the patio trying to escape the fluff

Is there such thing as fluffy trance? Last night I just got a message from Billy saying Blank&Jones is tearing apart at the gig he's at. They say they have something in store for us this coming Saturday. They know Circus have change and when Djs come here they will always bring their best set ever for us!!!! 1 day and counting.
What a line up we have. Sweetnuts-Norin&Rad-BLANK&JONES-Shogun.

solo traveler and knows nobody in LA :sigh: , oh well as long as there is trance!!! still a little bit sick from all of the wet, cold and windy weather from the east coast , hopefully I can recover for the party tomorrow

this is gonna be my first time seeing B&J, so excited. 2004 was my first contact with trance and at that time Mind of the Wonderful and Perfect Silence are everywhere, would be so nice to hear those old school tracks again.

No, as my friend from Stuttgart put it: "I am done with Trance Energy!" The main room was too commercial. Besides, my NL friend's brother is sick with acute Lukemia and they have enough to take care of with all the hospital visits...

I have my sights set on Mysteryland in August and maybe WMC if all goes well though.
