Not so much lol...but curious:

Waltzing or slow dancing whilst at an EDM club. I just don't get it. I mean ANYONE can dance if you put your feet, ears, & heart into it. This is not your prom.

Posted by Dj Blurr on Dec-15-2009 16:32:

Human Amoebas (groups of people who are in a circle hug and make their way from one area of the club to the other)

Patrons who rock out so hard that they forget how close they are standing to the booth, and facebang their foreheads or faces into the booths.

Forgetting where you are in the club, and walking into a mirror or a wall, thinking its another room.

Getting so drunk or retarded that you accidentally use the womens restroom while women are in it.

Accidentaly slipping and hitting your face on the edge of the toilet.

Washing your hands in a urinal by accident.

People pulling off various pieces of clothing or items for djs to sign, when there is a poster or flyer of the dj in front of them. I think the craziest thing I ever saw was someones sock, which had a hole in it.

Fat girls wearing heels. With their toes hangin off the front of their shoes like a deli sandwhich.

Anyone doing the chainsaw dance cause their so high.

Watching someone else take someones water, when in reality its vodka or something else in the bottle.

Blurting out the wrong tune so loud that others hear you. Then having the Dj correct you and say no wrong tune.

Oh, one more.. something that happened to a friend of mine.

Finding out that the little blue pill you dropped wasnt actually what you thought it was, but extra potent viagra.

Haven't seen it in awhile, but seemed to happen too much.

I saw this on Sunday night.

People were talking amongst them selves, "Fedde needs to pick it up" when it was still Anthony Ross...

I could only imagine what douchebag it was, there is tons of drunk ones there...good opening set btw.

wow...thats awesome!

If i was a gambling man, i put a wager that this would have never happened if MNS was still back at National...

Some girl did a Zoolander, unstrap and pulled out her bra then toss it on the dj booth , was hilarious

pix: Rizo & Thomas' phantastic voyage SF to LA and back in 15hours.

for menno and gareth at vanguard me and my friend were at the bar..and this guy tried talking to us, and asked what kind of music we liked. We replied "gareth emery is our favorite".. he then asked who is gareth emery?.. we pointed to the stage. He said ''oh so you girls are into techno? nice, me too! do you like daft punk or tiesto?"

Or my fave at raves... TAO a couple years ago I got a pic and autograph from ferry so I was super excited..and not one, but like 30 people asked me who ferry corsten was. Never surprises me anymore.

haha

Reminds me of Vegas earlier this year. I was talking to Tony (Laidback Lukes manager) and someone comes up to me and ask if i can take a picture of him and LBL (but it was Tony). I was like sure and went along, but Tony quickly pointed to LBL who was next to us talking to someone, he didn't want to play along haha

There is a somewhat large or built guy if you will in Denver who somewhat looks like Tom Colontonio - even has his shirt and wears it often during trance nights. People always come up to him thinking he is Tom.

Dj'ing at a frat (big mistake) and people kept writing call on me and castles in the sky on the request sheet i had. Girls waved their hands right in front of me to get me to take my headphones off - asked me to play the tracks and when I said I dont have them - got mad and asked why am i even a dj.

And yea, as mentioned earlier, having every form of EDM being called techno. Always cracks me up.

And people wearing shades in clubs - both normal and retarded Kanye shades. Even worse or at least the same level as stupid candy kids.

Worst one - both makes me laugh and want to punch - is when people ask what am I doing at the club if I am not on a drug - asking why I listen to this music for music purposes. This not just in clubs but when driving or at home as well. Fail.

Yeah, I love this one. It usually only happens at a venue you really shouldn't be playing at. Cracks me up everytime.

At Belo ages ago I was with a friend to see Sharam.

Audiofly was opening for him that night.

This Persian guy came up to me during their set and said, "Do you know who that is?!?"

Me: "No I don't actually" (I had never seen or heard of them before until that night)

Guy: "That is DEEEEP DISH!! They are number ONE DJ in AMERICA! The best!"

I couldn't help but walk away laughing so hard.

Posted by Nerologic on Dec-22-2009 21:34:

I remember that night, there was another headliner there also besides audiofly right?

If I remember right it was Audiofly and Sharam.

People who request tracks while your playing by humming. But when they hum, they are off key, so you still dont know wtf track they are talking about. or that one that goes "duh duh dee da duh"

Getting so fucked up that you dont pay attention and end up lighting your cigarette the opposite way.

Sleeping or pissing on the dancefloor.

Posted by surfrgal on Dec-24-2009 03:14:

I saw a guy on the dancefloor at Vanguard rocking out with headphones on and an MP3 player in his hand. Couldn't stop laughing.

Posted by mar46017 on Dec-24-2009 03:22:

He is a real nice guy. That being said...

The pirate guy from OC.

Posted by Kismet7 on Dec-24-2009 03:29:

People from other scenes (notably hip hop) that somehow end up in an EDM club, with a "where the fuck did I end up?" look.

But of course they sometimes fall in love...

Posted by DizkokidD on Dec-24-2009 09:19:

i lol when people tell my im too old...
but then i lol harder when i see the old hippy guy on the dance floor because i think that might be me in 20 years...

Posted by Jim Carson on Dec-24-2009 12:47:

Guys with mustaches in the club. Oh wait... that's Billy. lol

LOL @ Orange County Persian guy on the plane ride home from Miami WMC...

"Dude, I went to Ultra. Armin Van Buuren and Tiesto are THE BEST!!! I took so much E I couldn't sleep, sorry if I am laying on your shoulder. I am really tired and I feel sick."

Me: "That's Ok, I understand." (Not wanting to throw him into the aisle or be rude).

Persian guy: "I had so much energy I couldn't sleep. I was bouncing off the walls in the hotel room when we got back from Ultra and I was drinking Grey Goose."

Me: "You should really try Xanax if you need to fall asleep. It works. I'm on one right now. I'd be asleep right now if you weren't laying on my shoulder and halfway into my seat."

Posted by LToy on Dec-24-2009 15:10:

couples who use clubs as a substitute for a hotel room. I'm sure they're into the music, but I get the impression that the music/vibe is their aphrodisiac.
