I only play FIFA these days, and that's only with my housemate or before a night out.

The only computer game I play is Day of Defeat.

I enjoy console games. Socom and Warhawk mostly. Gonna be getting Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 here pretty soon.

the old day of defeat?

The beauty of Eve is that for those clever or cutthroat enough, you don't have to grind, and you get to play for free. I've been consistently playing Eve for 4+ years that way. There will be times when I won't play for a month, but I always come back. I miss griefing others.

@Fredz: The secret to getting easy fights is to join a big alliance. My alliance is in the middle of a huge war and there is consistently action.

I was in BRUCE, then when I quit I was in RAWR. You can't really get much bigger

I played Eve Online quite a lot for a couple of years but I simply can't devote that much time to a game any more, plus it takes too long to get a decent fight these days. I still miss it though.

You could try my approach; fit a BS in rens, head to amamake, call everyone in local bitches and wait in belt 1 and see what happens.

taking a break from eve now though, so I just kick it with some casual company of heroes skirmishes now and again.

If you were really dedicated to online games you would make time. Frankly, I'm disappointed.

I play Euchre online every now and then.

Well, I'm not anymore. There's this notion in my head that video games are for kids and therefore something I left behind when that damned '2' started appearing in my age. I know that's completely wrong, and if I'll indeed buy a console one of these days I'll be back to gaming in no time, but currently I pretend to be mature and sophisticated. ...

you can only pretend to be mature and sophisticated if you play PC titles. consoles are indeed for children (and poor people and tech morons).

Hot girls don't.

LOL! Well... I guess I am either not hot, or not a girl. I am sure there are a fair share of TA's that will agree with either of those sentiments.

Didn't see this. Sorry.

Is there such a huge difference between games available for PC and for consoles? I was never aware of that.

Posted by Dj Nacht on Dec-20-2009 15:18:

Used to play Ultima Online back in late nineties and early 2000's. Ive tried every mmorpg after that and they all didn't do it for me. Gaming is finished for me unless people start playing Quake 3 instagib again.

Oh and I keep coming back to playing Diablo II LOD, been doing it on and off for years. God knows where I'll end up when D3 comes out..

well, not much anymore the sad reality is most titles these days are cross-platform delivering much the same content. however when we're lucky, we get a better version with more options. and there are still genres that simply suck on console, like FPS & RTS.

Yeah same here actually... just hope Blizzard is going to protect the game packets a bit more so it doesn't get overun by hackers.
