Laugh, way to go Ohm, way to stay on topic
. Although I really like AvB I'd have to vote for Ferry. I, much like Exhale, can't explain why. I just know I put Corsten's CDs in quite a bit more than I do Armin's.
If u ppl notice, Ferry set are growing better & better this year, just take a listen at his set at Rosenmontagsrave & dance department...Ferry Corsten rulezzz man....
hehehe

If you would have asked me the same thing 6 months ago I would have said Ferry, but now it's ARMIN all the way.
A not too difficult one these days. I'd go for Armin, because he really manages to bring me in another state with his progressive trance style. Ferry has become a progressive DJ as well but he is making a more deep en groovy set with an almost similar sound through the whole set. And it is definitely groovy, but Armin a little bit more divers in one set, plus that he manages to tell a kind of story in the set. He has grown a lot the last year as you can hear atAvB 002 CD1 number 3>9. There's a real story in that mix and i never heard a real story in Ferry's set. Ok his Innercity CD is really nice but has nothing more in it.
But Ferry is still the best producer, he made some gigantic songs like Gouryella - Gouryella, Binary - Finary - 1999 (Gouryella remix, Vimana - Dreamtime and recently System F - Insolation. Armin produces also very good songs but they look all a little bit the same to me.
But in my view the point of a Set wheighs more than the producing. So Armin wins

I can't choose between them....they are both really awesome
System F
armin is a sick dj
but ferry is an amazing producer.. and an unmatched remixer. see apoptygma berzerk, tony walker, just to name a couple.
i didnt realize that in a lot of his sets, ferry plays majority of his own stuff- that was what did it for me. needlejuice? his. kathy's song? his. and of course you have elevate, cry, solstice, exhale, etc.
and then the joint prod.s like w/ armin and tiesto
but for also being one half of gouryella, i give the nod to ferry
*dives into the thinktank*
well.... I really like Armin.. especially when I get the priviledge of hearing his live sets... Ferry on the other hand, is just different. If I had a choice of who to see live, if they were both for some reason playing in the same city, I would w/o a doubt go see Armin. He plays the kinda stuff that I want to hear
Corsten, he just makes amazing songs... very good stuff.
