Return so Dexter can have two devils on his shoulder...and a dark passenger. I just can't wait for the show to return.

that last episode pissed me the fuck off.

season 2 had the best finale in my opinion. s4 ending just got me so angry

Dexter is awesome, but some of the characters in the series are just so fucking annoying and unbelievable

one of the better characters

Also, best season since the first imo. John Lithgow was great as Arthur and I cant wait to see how next season will play out.

season 2 finale was meh but the woman who he killed was a really annoying character in some of our shows too so it lost it's sparkle after she went fully buff.

Boomers. Yes. but the anticipation will help eventually. i think

I'd put faith in these writers not to screw this up. I doubt they wrote 'lets off Rita and see if the show gets picked up for a fifth season'. I am sure they have some kind of idea where to go and they needed Rita dead to go there.
My personal opinion is that they want Harrison to be to Dexter, what Dexter was to Harry. Now with Rita gone, Dexter can do that. I haven't seen all of the fourth season yet, so if this is blatantly obvious, my bad.

Dexter was 3 or so years old and was in the container for days.
Harrison is 3months old and was in the bathroom for a few hours.
That and you'd have to skip quite a few years before harrison started to show signs of being a violent sociopath.

or cody & aster, maybe he could teach them to avenge their mother. who knows, the good thing is that they have many places they can go, and so this just means we're all waiting in anticipation

I am hoping Cody & Asster move in with their grandparents since it is unsafe to live with Dexter, after all they will never find the Trinity killer . That would open up a lot more possibilities in the show.

perhaps mate, but also Dex seemed to really become more of a family person, so perhaps he loses all 3 of them, and that's the price he pays for not killing trinity at first. Would be ironic and really work on his mind too.

OR...He keeps all three and turns the Kody and Assturd into serial killers...which would kill the underling theory he has that genetics plays a role in serial killers (dark passenger).

OR Dexter has retreated to a simple life in a rural Thai village near the Burmese border, capturing snakes for local entertainers, and transporting roamers in his old PT boat. Following repeated pleas, Dexter helps ferry a group of Christian aid workers into war-torn Burma, where the local Karen villagers are regularly tortured and massacred by Major Tint's sadistic soldiers. The humanitarian mission is going well, until the village is attacked and the missionaries are kidnapped, and Dexter is once again asked to transport - but this time a group of mercenaries, assembled by the missionaries' minister on a deadly rescue mission. This time he doesn't stay behind.

I'm pretty sure Rita is still alive in that little choose-your-own adventure.

numpty!

Honestly, I think with the focus being on him being a family man that it may lose everything for him and that makes him more ruthless but maybe more reckless too.

OR... A group of thieves led by Dexter hijack a $100,000,000 delivery en route to a Denver credit union. Their plan to transfer the money mid-air to collaborators in another plane goes awry, and the hijackers crash land and lose the money in the surrounding mountains. They radio for help, and former ranger Gabe Walker and his partner Hal Tucker answer the call. Dexter and his men have a high-tech tracking device that shows them the locations of the three cases of missing money, but they need help traveling through the mountains, so they force Gabe and Hal to be their guides. Forced to scale a rock face in the middle of a snow storm, Gabe grabs some of the money and escapes. Gabe knows Dexter will kill Hal as soon as Dexter has the remaining cash, so, with fellow ranger Jessie Deighan, Gabe tries to reach the money before Dexter does.

Name that movie smartie pants

OR...A young Dexter dies under the care of his parish priest while attending college, Dexter believed he became possessed. After medical care ceases to work, he turned to his faith. In the care of his priest he dies and his priest goes on trial for his death. He is represented by a career-minded and driven lawyer who does not believe in God. Thus is the story of Dexter, told by those in the trial and the priest who watched him through his possession.

You are good. I tried to find another movie with Stallone and a Dexter character, but I ran out of options.

Posted by Trance Nutter on Dec-24-2009 02:23:

A friend of mine's boyfriend is an absolute cuntbutler (everyone agrees).

He finds it hilarious to call me and another mate dexter. We think he's an absolute tool, my mate has had him pinned up against a wall by the throat before, I've told him what I've thought of him several times (I'm not as big as my mate so I can't throw my weight around, as much as I want to ). but still this wankstein calls both of us dexter.

One time he came up (he just doesn't get it), threw his arm around me and goes "I'll tell you what dexter"
me: growl "what"
he just looked at me, saw his imminent death in my eyes, paused for a second and walked away.

Fuck I hate that guy. Dunno why my friend stays with him, everyone (literally everyone) has told her he's a wanker beyond comprehension, but they've been together for years

So yeah, I can't watch dexter without thinking of this guy. Thanks for ruining it fuckstick.

Posted by Slipmat on Dec-24-2009 15:07:

Glad you got that off your chest, Dexter.

Loved the end of the season and the whole season, actually. I thought I'd stop watching after the bore that was the 3rd season, but decided to give it another shot. Can't wait for new episodes to come out. I hope he goes fucking mental and murders a whole neighbourhood of people with a chainsaw.
