BBSes were pre-internet though, real nerd shit. you'd connect to a computer via regular phone line without going through an isp at all... when you connected to them you had to enter commands in a prompt and ASCII art were the only images, and they each had their own shitty 'electronic mail' system. remember finding contacts to play warcraft 2 with that way when i was about 10 haha.

I remember connecting to our local library's BBS direct through the phone line way the fuck back when....

crazy

When G force walkmans were the shit
when 40GB on a computer was considered a massive hard drive
when those pizza lunch snacks were considered the shit in grade school
when dreamcast was the best system around

how about when the original NES was the best system around (and Sega tried so hard to beat them)? or was that before your time?

naw, that came out when i was a kid. dreamcast was just mind boggling and frankly still is to this day. i'd pay for someone to develop a new game for that system. sad that it had such a short lived life...

I miss icq. I still remember my number too - 39003217. I hope it makes a comeback one day. I logged on a couple years ago to see if anyone was still using it and it was completely deserted

isnt that the point of this thread? you are old when you know OLD stuff. dreamcast is old but not that old.

here would be a good example...

it should say "when 20MB on a computer was considered a massive drive"
