I'm pretty sure I saw Nick warren next to dave seaman switching back and forth. Where u there the whole time or just the beggining? That's strange...they let us back in when we went for a smoke out back by the pool. The bouncers at the club were big assholes so i can see that happening.

ahh shady... well this will be a great year to go back with circoloco coming back into the full swing of things. too bad about the new hours though. is we love still abbreviated too? were you at the space opening party may 31st?

ya i forgot when we left but i stayed quite a while listening to dave seaman and it was very boring. maybe that was because we got there so early and i was exhausted, and it was dead inside. it filled up by the time we went out to the lobby, but when we tried to get back in they said it was at capacity inside and that we had to wait in this ridiculous line. also ben told me he was sick!

maybe he was sick...because dave seemed to play longer intervals than nick. he showed up but probably didnt feel like doing much. 2 parts dave to 1 part nick. Not 50% each.

that's two nick warren parties i went to and ended up missing the entirety of in the past year wow i'm fucking good!

edit: wait i think it was 16 bit lolitas who was sick and didn't make it. did you see ariaan there? i think that's why we didn't go back in...

Yeah I'm looking forward to next summer. I wont be doing June or September again - just a couple of weeks in July, which for me is the best time to go.

Circo will be back next year. After hours doesn't exist with the exception of one off parties like the Amnesia closing which went til noon.

By far one of the best parties i've EVER been to! I mean, the party got shut down by the cops right when Chris was getting on. Everyone thought that that was it, the party was over... 1 Hour later, we're at the 2nd location raving our fucking faces off. The people of LA really came together for that one.

My birthday beach party. All of my closest friends were in attendance and we had an entire DJ set up right on the beach. It was pretty fucking wild, haha! Lots of people smoking, drinking, girls were going topless... We even had a boat anchor off shore and had people paddle out on rowboats to party with us, haha! Some people even showed up with jet skis and took some friends out to try them. It was a TON of work on my part... but it was totally worth it. It definitely helped jump-start the scene up here, and I was glad that I played a major part by bringing people together.

Burning Envy:

Another beach party that I threw, but this time it was at night. It was during the full moon and it created an atmosphere that would be difficult to recreate anywhere else.

Nick Warren redemption in less than 3 weeks @ Supperclub to make up for the last 2 Warren shows!!

unfortunately i just don't see nick knocking it out of the park at white-walled supperclub. the best i've heard him play is still the first time i saw him at mezzanine in 2005. great fucking venue for his sound. i was so lost in the music that night, i remember it well...

I didn't really go to a lot of parties this year, but the 2 that stick at to me are the first time Simon Patterson came to 1015 (the time the first alarm went off). He was on point in my opinion then. The other time would have to Jamie Jones at Com#.

Every night we go out with the EDM family really.

I think out of all the shows I attended this year I would have to say that Aly & Fila @ 1015 was the most memorable and also the next night at ETD Love Martin Roth had an amazing set. Pretty incredible weekend over all.

I saw an endless list of DJ's at the Vanguard, but the club's production went downhill this year extremely fast, although some of the sets were good the vibe in the club just wasn't there for me. I did recently see Glenn Morrison there and I thought his name would be worth mentioning because he had a really good set that was unexpected.

Also, HULA @ Circus, Eddie @ The Wavehouse in SD, and Kaskade @ EDC this year had a straight jaw dropping set!

Ahh yes ATB at Heat Ultra Lounge. How could I forget. You only see parties like that once or twice a year. The energy was ROCKIN that night. It was like a convention of 600 ATB fans singing all the songs. ATB even said that was his favorite party in DJ Mag's top 100

Agreed lol, never been to a party w/ such energy. I saw his DJ mag comment too, i was happy to see that because I was able to experience sucha good party.

How Sweet it is 09 with Donald Glaude, Cosmic Gate, Judge Jules & Fedde Le grand! it was an epic night and one of my favorite partys of 09! oh and Laidback Luke at avalon back in april, i got to go onstage while he spun his 3 hour set! it was a pretty awesome night.
