I just saw this on the news again...its going to be on Dateline NBC and they are now aiming the investingation at a bouncer that was working at the club that night who apparently doesnt work there anymore...the plot thickens and it doesnt look good.

I also heard that Space has all new staff as well. In reality its not Space's fault this guy did this. It does however make them look bad if he did have something to do with it being an employee or former employee.

Talk about crazy shit!

To clarify a few things.

CLUB SPACE STATEMENTS ON THE PAULA SLADEWSKI INVESTIGATION

There have been some allegations made by Paula Sladewski's boyfriend (Kevin Klym) regarding Club Space and our employees. Mr. Klym has made several misleading and inaccurate statements to the media in recent days. Said statements are a distraction and hindrance to the efforts of our community to solve this crime as quickly as possible.

To add some clarity to what took place on the evening of the January 3rd and subsequently we wish to state the following:

Kevin Klym and Paula Sladewski were engaged in a physical altercation with each other at the bar area of Club Space at approximately 7am on January 3rd.

Once club staff intervened, Kevin was asked to leave and escorted to the front door of the club. Kevin exited the club and without hesitation abandoned Paula without money or a cell phone.

Immediately after Kevin left the club Paula was escorted out of the club, as is Club Space's policy. She is seen on video surveillance exiting the club, being escorted out by an employee and a member of Club Space's management staff.

The individual walking behind Paula on the video, contrary to Mr. Klym's claims, is not a man who resembles the man in the police sketch. The man escorting Paula in the video is our front door manager who is Caucasian with no facial hair.

The man who Paula Sladewski was last seeing with outside of Club Space was not inside Club Space and was not a customer or an employee of Club Space. This man engaged Paula in a conversation and she walked away with him.

None of our Security staff or employees abandoned their post or their shift at 7 AM to follow Paula. They are all on camera and accounted for.

Contrary to Mr. Klym's unfounded accusation, Club Space has not replaced or dismissed any of it's security staff . Again, they are all on camera and accounted for.

The police sketch of the possible suspect does not match any of our security staff or employees.

Club space employees did not give the description for the police suspect�s sketch. This must have been given by someone who saw Paula in the 14 hours after she left Space.

Police have yet to identify the person who gave the sketch or where this person last saw Paula and the suspect.


We are dismayed at Mr. Klym's erratic behavior, accusations and his efforts to hold on to his 5 minutes of fame. It is clear that Klym is trying to deviate attention from himself as he still remains a �person of interest� in Paula Sladewski�s murder.

We at Club Space will continue to seek the facts and work with authorities in bringing Paula�s killer to justice.

- Care to back them up with concrete evidence? "Show Me". Talk is cheap, son.

- It shows a lot about the type of person you are, taking advantage of the controversy this horrendous crime has caused to further your own petty agenda.


I was hoping to avoid this sort of confrontation, but sadly, it is looking to be unavoidable. MJM, you allow this sort of conduct on here?

Can you please clear up why Damian Lazarus was kicked out of the club at 7 am and not moved into the Techno Loft?

The boyfriend is making accusations to cover his ass. As long as all your employees were accounted for and you have the proof to cover your ass - You guys should be fine.

Thanks for the reassurance. We're just curious as to why your friends are choosing to bring up unfounded past grievances. It's pretty tacky and disrespectful, especially considering the gravity of the situation.

For better or for worse, we've avoided forums like these for awhile. Not because we have anything to hide, but because it gets tiring fighting the same baseless accusations after awhile. I strongly suspect epdarks has an ulterior motive.

He is asking legit questions that would have been nice if they were answered when they happened.

It's just not geared towards the situation at hand

And, maybe I'm wrong, but even when we've taken the time out of our busy schedules (running a club is hard work, despite rumors to the contrary) and answer these questions, we still get nothing but grief. In the court of forum law, we can't win.

So you can see our point of view on why, after awhile, we don't bother answering the baseless accusations of a few fanatics. Especially considering the thousands of people who enjoy themselves at the club every weekend, as they have done so for the past ten years.

I understand and totally see your point but your Club has had a huge amount of respect and support from the members here and I don't think we've ever been graced with anyone's presence from Space.

So don't run away!!!

i personally have to say that there has been no concrete evidence this entire time from everything ive read about space's involvement to this murder and the statement posted clearly assures that. from my personal standpoint, the club has done nothing wrong, especially if all people working have been accounted for and the doorman looks nothing like the sketch. blame it on the scumbag bf for leaving his gf at a club.

I apologize if the question(s) was not posted at the right place & the right time. Event hough Space has had its ups & downs throughout the 10 years of business no need to veer of topic.

With that being said Please keep any questions in regards to the thread topic relevant to whats being posted.
